It's been a very long time since I've been back. The restaurant is very good, but the service is appalling. For the price you pay, the service is terrible, and that's why I haven't gone back.

The oldest Japanese restaurant in Paris, it's, I believe, the only one to offer sukiyaki and shabu-shabu in addition to other more classic Japanese dishes.
This is a true gem, where you'll find all the flavors of Japan in a perfect setting that transports you there. And on top of that, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

For me, the best Japanese restaurant in Paris.
It's a bit tricky to book, as reservations only open two days in advance, so you have to remember to book. But otherwise, the atmosphere is friendly, the food is traditional, and it's fantastic!

Online booking, no waiting. Cozy atmosphere.
We chose two lunch menus: Yaki Sakana (€29) and tempura sushi (€34), plus two desserts from the menu. Each menu included two appetizers, rice, and a bowl of miso soup.
The service was very friendly and quick, but everything arrived too quickly at once. And once finished, everything was cleared away just as fast. As for the food, the portions were generous and beautifully presented, but the flavors weren't exceptional. Apart from the fatty tuna sushi, which stood out, the rest seemed unremarkable or not worth the price. We're glad we tried it, but we won't be going back.

Extremely pleasant setting, with many delicious choices on the menu.
Beautiful, dimly lit dining room.
A slight mix-up at the beginning of service (we were served two drinks by mistake), and a short wait before ordering dessert.
The restroom floor was a little sticky.
Overall, a very positive experience. Highly recommended.

Small. A bit too noisy at times. But the best restaurant in Paris to get a feel for Japanese cuisine and discover a variety of dishes. The shabu-shabu and sukiyaki are generous portions.
