The galette was quite good, the starter very good, the dessert a little too sweet for me but still good overall. Perfect service, a very large and spacious dining room. I recommend this restaurant

Passing through Rennes, we opted for the convenience of a meal at the Alma shopping center. We had lunch at Tante Alice's without even checking the reviews! The welcome was very friendly, the service quick and efficient, and the galettes and crêpes were delicious (and we're crêpe makers ourselves!), in short, a pleasant surprise. However, it is a noisy and somewhat dark establishment for my taste, but it's also a restaurant in a shopping mall, so the soundproofing is limited. Recommended!

First time at the restaurant, quick service, pleasant waiter. We ordered a burger and a savory crepe with homemade chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. We enjoyed our meal very much! And a very good point: I ordered a coffee at the same time as dessert and received it before dessert, which isn't the case at other places I've been. Thank you so much for a pleasant experience!

07/06/2026: A great place to meet up every first Sunday of the month to sample lots of specialties from different restaurants in Rennes 😋
25/05/2026: On the first Sunday of each month (except December through February), tickets are distributed upon presentation of a student ID card. These tickets can be exchanged for a wide selection of dishes and desserts at the food market. A fantastic initiative! Well done and thank you. Go early (from 10:30 am) as the tickets go quickly.

Crêperie La Motte Picquet

11/12/2025: A fantastic place, I highly recommend it! The food is excellent. The galettes and crêpes range from classic to more original creations I've never seen anywhere else. The artisanal cider is also excellent; we were able to try two kinds. I won't say any more and will let you discover it for yourselves—the owner will be delighted to serve it to you. To top it all off, the staff is lovely and very friendly. The interior is warm and authentic. I will definitely be back.
10/12/2025: A very good crêperie opposite the cathedral. The setting is calm and charming. The menu is very varied, with daily specials that are well worth trying. They also offer extremely good dry ciders. A great find.
