Nicest waiter! We had a very nice waiter who helped us choose our order and guided us. We ordered the seafood plate and everything was very good and fresh. I’ll definitely suggest it to anyone coming to visit the city.
They have a big variety of seafood and typical food from Alsace and Normandie.
We had too book and it was super easy

Lunch today, June 20, 2026, for 20 people to celebrate our association's anniversary, and everything was impeccable! A private room, air conditioning at just the right temperature, and generous, high-quality dishes. The quantity/quality/price ratio was perfect. A special thank you to Pierre, who served us with great efficiency and kindness. La Taverne Paillette is a Le Havre institution; now I know why! 🙂

Classic historic restaurant in heart of town. Quirky emphasis on sausages. English menu available. Good service once you're established, but passive aggressive toward no reservations even when the place is empty. Expensive.

A wonderful experience at Taverne Paillette! A huge thank you to Angélique 💫💫 for her exceptional welcome. Smiling, attentive, energetic, and always ready to listen, she greatly contributed to making our meal even more enjoyable.
The service was impeccable, with genuine attention paid to the customers and a contagious good humor. It's a pleasure to be received with such professionalism and kindness.
We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Thank you again to Angélique for her outstanding service! 😊👏🍽️

A huge thank you to Angélique, our server, who made this family lunch so enjoyable by being efficient (which is much appreciated with a young child), proactive in anticipating our requests, and attentive throughout the meal.
The food was excellent. Flavorful and generous portions; we really appreciated the homemade touch across the entire menu. We wish you continued success for many more years to come!
