We discovered La Taverne Paillette, and we weren't disappointed. The dishes were generous, very tasty, and fresh. The setting is beautiful. We highly recommend it.

A must-visit in Le Havre! We went as a couple last Saturday night, and it's always a great experience! Paillette beer is very good, and the servers are very efficient.

A fantastic restaurant on a side street, not far from the beach, within walking distance of the town center. We stumbled upon it by chance while walking through a small park. The food was excellent, and the portions were incredibly generous. We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation, as it was still quite early in the evening.

The place is undoubtedly a piece of the city's history. The food is good and there's a wide selection. The staff is friendly and helpful, though service isn't the fastest. It's a great idea to offer late service; last orders are at 11:15 PM, and when you're traveling through Normandy, you might be late! It's crowded, so it's best to book.

Delicious and generous cuisine! We thoroughly enjoyed the sauerkraut served with horseradish (a nice change from mustard)! The service was pleasant and the restaurant had a warm atmosphere. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience!

Usually I’d put a disclaimer how places change, chefs can be different but not here. It’s managed since 1596 for a reason. I didn’t expect that good of a service from a tavern or great quality food but imo it’s solid. If I could go again I’ll be definitely back right here. Nuff said

12/08/2026: It was a great experience. The place is very cozy, with just a few tables, and quiet. The atmosphere is pleasant, with a nice mix of colors and materials, and interesting paintings on the walls. The owner is very kind and helpful. Excellent food, not too elaborate, well-presented, and authentic flavors. High quality/price ratio: €134 for 4 (€33.50 per person) with an entree and main course. Highly recommended for those who don't like touristy or overly refined fare!
11/08/2026: The staff are very smiley, helpful and friendly, the food is delicious, I highly recommend it, go there, you won't regret it!!

Crêperie Les Korrigans

16/08/2026: Passing through Le Havre for the day, we stopped at the crêperie. Unfortunately for us, they were closing. I asked if it would be possible to have a drink given the heat and the other restaurants that had turned us away, and the very kind owners replied: "Yes, no problem, go ahead and sit down, we'll be cleaning up for an hour." I didn't get to try their food, but next time we'll definitely eat there. Thanks again.
15/08/2026: Very good crepes and friendly staff. Average prices. We were traveling with two medium-sized dogs, and they welcomed us without any problems. They even provided a water bowl for both of them.
