The English Shop sur Chantilly

Superb English shop, you can find lots of things there and you can have tea with pastries. André

A wonderful experience! The English breakfast and fish & chips were delicious; you can tell they're made with love and freshness! I highly recommend it 😊

A fairly pleasant experience, but indifferent. The prepared tea was fine and I found the scones to be fair, but nothing stood out in particular. The decor inside feels a little lost and confusing, but carries some charm from English living. The cream that came with the scones was more like a cottage or clotted cream rather than a smooth cream as shown in other pictures. There was a case for other desserts to have with tea that included banana bread, brownies, a cheesecake and other cake. The service was pleasant and some local town folk stopped by to purchase some merchandise in the shop, but otherwise it wasn’t too loud or busy. Take note that hours are different than posted on Google.

From the welcome to the meal, including the cake and the shop, everything was perfect! A truly joyful moment shared with family, in an atmosphere that invites you to peacefully escape. A wonderful place to discover and recommend without hesitation!

Having spent a weekend near Gouvieux, I stumbled upon this shop while looking for somewhere to charge my completely dead phone. The owner is lovely! My mother had a delicious banana cake that was perfect!! I highly recommend this shop and thank you for your kindness!

A most pleasant tea room in the center of Chantilly. I stopped there three days ago and enjoyed an excellent English brunch. I just wanted to eat in a quiet and pleasant place, and I couldn't have found better. I had already been there a few years ago for afternoon tea, but I also recommend the brunch. A charming welcome and a cozy place. I even found Yorkshire tea in the shop... a treat!! A word to the owner... please put it back on the shelves because I bought the last pack. 😉 I plan to go back there regularly because I'm always looking for a nice place for lunch on my day off. And if it's close to the castle, you can stop there after a nice walk to eat or just before the walk, like I did. See you soon.
