My daughter was born in London and I find in this typical café that little something that reminds us of English brunch and afternoon tea. Thank you to the young lady present every Sunday for her kindness and personalized service. See you soon!🤩

A very first experience of British brunch that I really enjoyed! It was tasty and truly traditional, all in a “so British” atmosphere which took me, for an hour, to the banks of the Thames. I would also like to underline the quality of the welcome offered by my hostess, whose pretty smile and impeccable service eclipsed the very English clouds which had darkened the sky!

What a warm welcome in a very unpretentious British setting which reminds us of our village tea room in the midlands. Delicious scones, very affordable prices. Just for the welcome we can't wait to go back and try the English breakfast. See you soon 😊

We stopped at The English Shop on a Sunday morning before starting Plant Day 2024 🌷 We discovered, A pretty little place, so cute that smells like hot pastries when you walk in. We were able to enjoy a good breakfast accompanied by its delicacies 😋 with a warm welcome💞💞💞 Don't hesitate to discover this tea room 👍👍🙃

It was nice, it felt like a real English family home. On the other hand, more with our English grandmother than with our stylish uncle! 😅 The house needs a good refresh (chipped paint, stained sofa, crack...) Afterwards the service is really top notch and we have a pleasant time there... The main thing in short.

I discovered this place by chance and was able to taste delicious scones, served as it should be with cream and raspberry jam. I really appreciated this little reminder of my life in London. Thanks to the pastry owner!

10/08/2024: Les galettes et desserts sont bons mais le service pas terrible.. Manque de professionnalisme de la part des serveurs, pas de couverts puis pas de verres, temps d’attente un peu trop long
06/08/2024: Even though it was busy, we were helped very friendly. The galettes were delicious! The terrace is located directly on the street, the cars drive right past you, but that is the only downside

The Paddock

01/07/2024: We were in chantilly again, for the racing, but could wait to get back to the paddock , such a lovely vibe about the place. The staff even recognised us from last time we were there, which was really nice, we had a delicious meal, fish n chips is just divine, the landlords are an absolute delight, and the young lady, is an absolute diamond, if your in the area, pop in, you won't be disappointed.
22/06/2024: Super pub ! Bonne selection de bières et service impeccable. Nicolas est accueillant et la patronne adorable. Le fish & ship est excellent. Pour les matchs de foot ambiance extra! Je recommande fortement Fourchette de prix bonne.
