Located on the infamous "Rue des Boulets" (Cannonball Street), this Irish pub is steeped in tradition... noisy, with uncomfortable wooden seats, and a rather mediocre, "bulk" food selection... the salad on one of the burgers was spoiled. However, the service is friendly and well-intentioned.

Green Goose is my home away from home. Good, friendly service. Good food, good pints. The staff and the owner are always welcoming and warm.

It is a nice, beautiful and lovely place. The personnel are very friendly and the coffee is amazing. Thank you Davood for serving me the best Cafe au lait I have ever had in Paris ! 😍

Great pub! I highly recommend this place for a get-together with friends. For St. Patrick's Day, we tried the Irish Stew and the fish and chips, as well as stuffed roasted chilies and onion rings as starters. The staff at the bar were very welcoming, and we even had a chance to chat with them a bit about their national holiday.

17/03/2026: I highly recommend it!! A very good little dish served piping hot. They are very welcoming. I will be back.
25/02/2026: I discovered the place when I went to vote at the Consulate. I searched on Google and decided on "La Belote." It was full, but since it was almost closing time, there were tables available. I loved the cod, the dessert, and I'd been missing a good coffee. The waitress is a sweetheart, always available.

14/06/2026: This place is, and always has been fantastic. Saw some comments about things 'going down hill'. Don't know what they're talking about. Food was great. Service was prompt. Little wine list of the day on a chalk board was new for me and fun.
