The Tea Caddy sur Paris

A very good tea room, with a wide selection of teas/infusions and homemade pastries. A pleasant experience; we'll be back to try the brunch.

The decor was extremely basic, we waited 40 minutes to be served even though the restaurant wasn't full, and the waiter's remark was rather unpleasant. Disappointing.

My daughter invited me there. The place is very cute; it feels like you're in the UK. The person who served us was kind and attentive. My daughter, who loves eggs Benedict, thoroughly enjoyed the truly homemade dish! And I had the carrot cake for dessert, which I found delicious. In short, we'll gladly go back!

A cute place with a lovely, rustic atmosphere. Arrive early, as it's quite small. The menu is extensive and varied. The sweets and pastries are high quality and absolutely delicious. Very friendly!

A warm and attentive welcome from Louise for a Tea Time 😋 in a cozy and very British tea room 🫖 in the Latin Quarter, just steps from the famous English bookstore Shakespeare & Co and Notre-Dame de Paris… A delightful institution since 1928!

Fantastic atmosphere! This little tea room is a real gem. The scones, the rich chocolate cake, and the carrot cake were absolutely delicious; just thinking about them makes my mouth water! If you're ever near Notre-Dame, this is definitely a must-visit.

The welcome was a bit cold and the scones were really tiny with a thimbleful of jam and cream, not even enough for the tiny scones.

The place is absolutely charming, with a charming, old-fashioned country pub vibe, complete with Chinese-patterned tableware. The tea room isn't very big, so it's best to arrive either early or at off-peak times. There's a very wide selection of teas and infusions to please everyone, as well as a small selection of coffees and other drinks. There's a menu of savory items and salads, even though most people come for the sweets. The cakes are very good and not too sweet, which I appreciate. The specialty is the carrot cake, and it's truly delicious. But at €8.55, I expected a more generous portion; the slice is quite small (that's why I'm deducting a star). For the same price, the chocolate fondant or the crumble offer better value for money (the quality is there anyway). The teas are good too. Nevertheless, I'll be back to try the other pastries.
