Great place to eat, delicious sandwiches with a very kind owner. Deserves another star for its price compared to many many more other food stores in Paris who will be more expensive and definitely not as good.

Uncle's banh mi are very good with several possible sizes and therefore several prices, obviously with several different toppings, each one as good as the next. Unfortunately, I don't give 5 stars because there is a lot of waiting at lunchtime (20 minutes in line for 3-4 people in front) so I often abandon this solution because there is not enough time between noon and two

Excellent Bahn Mi in a small restaurant full of reading material on Vietnam to borrow while waiting (a bit of a queue at lunchtime) and a very friendly chef :) I tried the Garlic Beef one but there are plenty of other options, including veggie (and some only on Tuesdays and Thursdays). The flavors are well balanced (if you like to eat very spicy, ask for fresh chili) and with the super size at 6€30 I was full (although paying in cash or lidya!). I will come back thank you 🌞

23/09/2024: Perfect for a delicious evening with friends
19/09/2024: Very friendly setting. Warm welcome, with a very welcome hibiscus drink. 100% vegan, which is quite rare, and the dishes are very varied. Starter: I had to ask for confirmation that the maki was indeed vege because the resemblance to salmon was uncanny. It was good! Dish of the day: bourguignon with polenta. A killer. Very tasty. Perfect balance between textures. A great trip. And it was plentiful. I very, very highly recommend. Point for improvement: the menu is not very clear on what is on the menu or not. It’s also a shame that the daily specials and desserts aren’t displayed somewhere. The waitress didn't seem happy that I asked her if she recommended a particular starter, I don't really know why, she just told me again what the starter of the day was (my question was perhaps unusual)
