The only international branch of the Toraya tea house in Japan. The wagashi menu is incredible and I was more than delighted to be able to enjoy my iced matcha without milk. The service is impeccable and the place is really pretty. A star is missing for the fake plants which, in my opinion, do not match the standard of this salon, sorry.

Divine in every way. I had come regularly for a while since my mother introduced me to this House. I returned after several years during a visit to Paris, and after having fantasized about this reunion for a long time. I had the great pleasure of being welcomed by the manager who, despite the obvious busyness that day, managed to find me a place. I am intensely grateful to you because I had the pleasure of experiencing a culinary meditation that will remain engraved until my last breath. Many thanks and congratulations to the team, from the service to the kitchen, including the management, who have succeeded in achieving consistency in excellence.

We went there for Saturday breakfast. The food was great, very delicious, but the sweets, although they looked amazing were a little bit tasteless. The tea was also very soft, just perfect. We took The Menu Salade Avocat - Matcha Soba and Menu Sekihan. When I will come back next time I will probably not try the sweets.

Toraya suddenly appears on the streets of Paris.
The atmosphere inside the store is very calm.
The store staff were also kind and courteous.

Pleasant service and helpful staff, however, mixed experience when I was prohibited from enjoying an already set monaka, while waiting for my package to be packed, and was specifically asked to wait until I was taken out, to a somewhat cavalier manner. A bit disappointing.

Very well made traditional Japanese pastries. Mixed rating because the gyokuro was very disappointing, and for tea at this price (16 euros) in a tea room, I expected much better. Lack of richness, umami, freshness.
If you come for lunch it's great, to discover Japanese pastries too, but for tea there are better places.
