On the afternoon of June 26, 2026, Paris was experiencing a heatwave, and it was so hot that I wanted to eat Toraya's shaved ice! So I went in.
I ordered a soba noodle set with eggplant and fried tofu, a mixed rice lunch set, and Uji Kintoki shaved ice with cream and anmitsu (a Japanese dessert).
Everything tasted almost exactly the same as Toraya in Japan, which was satisfying, but when I converted the price to yen, I was surprised at how different it was from what I'm used to in Japan.

Great tasting matcha, in both the ice cream and iced latte. The anmitsu isn’t my cup of tea, so I’d probably order the ice cream alone if I could (not sure if they offer it)
