We had a fantastic evening yesterday at Le Tour du Monde! The food was excellent: the mussels and fries and the fish and chips were superb, we thoroughly enjoyed them.
There was a minor technical issue with the music during the evening, but these things happen. However, a special mention goes to the young waitress with glasses (around twenty years old) who sulked the entire time... It was almost unnerving, we even ended up laughing about it!
In short, a great place to eat and drink in Brest, although a little smile from the staff wouldn't hurt. We'll definitely be back!

Le Tour du Monde is an iconic spot in Brest's marina, a great place to meet up with friends for a drink or a simple, unpretentious meal.
The location is ideal, with a view of Brest harbor. The service was a bit slow this time, even though the restaurant wasn't full. The prices are reasonable for drinks, and the food is decent. Plus, it's dog-friendly!
In short, don't expect a gourmet meal, but you'll feel right at home in a friendly atmosphere.

We were disappointed with the fish and chips; the fries were dry, and the fish had a very basic batter that made it fall apart. No complaints about the service, though: it was quick and the welcome was warm. It was busy, but you don't have to worry about sharing a table with strangers. It's a nice place! The beer is good.
