Lunch in late April, sunny on the terrace. Very pleasant. Mussels in cream sauce and fish and chips. Not bad (mussels a bit small though and the cream sauce wasn't very flavorful).

A classic in my hometown. I've been going there since it opened last century. People come for the atmosphere, for the view... a beer and fries... In short, every time I return to Finistère.

We had a fantastic evening yesterday at Le Tour du Monde! The food was excellent: the mussels and fries and the fish and chips were superb, we thoroughly enjoyed them. There was a minor technical issue with the music during the evening, but these things happen. However, a special mention goes to the young waitress with glasses (around twenty years old) who sulked the entire time... It was almost unnerving, we even ended up laughing about it! In short, a great place to eat and drink in Brest, although a little smile from the staff wouldn't hurt. We'll definitely be back!

Le Tour du Monde is an iconic spot in Brest's marina, a great place to meet up with friends for a drink or a simple, unpretentious meal. The location is ideal, with a view of Brest harbor. We were disappointed with the fish and chips; the fries were dry, and the fish had a very basic batter that made it fall apart. No complaints about the service, though: it was quick and the welcome was warm. It was busy, but you don't have to worry about sharing a table with strangers. It's a nice place! The beer is good.

28/04/2026: A very nice brasserie close to the train station, the products are beautifully prepared and the service is attentive!
26/04/2026: The empty restaurant surprised us, as my mother is used to seeing it packed. But we had a good meal. I personally ordered a potato crisp with egg and mushrooms as a starter (I had my two companions try it, and they also approved), followed by a pork tenderloin stuffed with onions and mustard sauce (the meat was tender and well-cooked). The only downside was the cold potatoes at the bottom of the bowl, with a few warm ones on top. For dessert, a delicious chocolate pear choux pastry was a very generous portion; I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chocolate cream, for once, wasn't too sweet, and the choux pastry dome was lightly caramelized and crispy. As for the wine, I didn't like the Saumur at all, but my mother's red Burgundy was good. The waiter was friendly.
