When I received them, I devoured them with my eyes. 18 Royal sushi! They are as beautiful as they are delicious, fresh, generous, and truly delightful. A wonderful discovery! Best Japanese restaurant, best sushi, bravo, and see you soon!

Toyo is one of the best Japanese restaurants I know. My son and I have been going there for five years, and the food is always delicious! The soup, the salad, the raw fish, the skewers, the maki, the sashimi, the gyoza—everything is good!!! We love it and will continue to return regularly!

A small, traditionally Chinese-run Japanese restaurant. Excellent service and friendly staff. Superb sushi and sashimi, but be careful with the skewers... Reasonable prices.

A loyal customer for almost a year since I moved to the city center, I've always found the welcome very pleasant, the staff very calm, kind, and much appreciated. The dishes offered are really good and of high quality; for me, it's the best Japanese restaurant in Niort. When I order takeout, I'm very often offered a free drink and little candies. Go without hesitation!

Very good restaurant, I go back very often. The servers are very friendly and when you order to pick up your order there's sometimes a little something extra in the bag ^^

The staff are very nice and the food is simply amazing, very tasty and the atmosphere is really like being in Japan, it is very well done and the website is well run, 5 stars for excellent food and service

Fantastic welcome! We had let them know we'd be arriving late, almost at closing time, and we were very well received. The staff didn't rush us at all to choose. The food was excellent; we tried a little bit of everything on the menu and it was all delicious. A perfect evening!

Excellent experience! The sushi is superb, fresh, and perfectly prepared. The service is quick and efficient, and the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it! (Plus, they always slip little candies into my order 🤩)

29/05/2026: I ate at this restaurant twice during my stay and honestly, I was blown away. Having eaten Japanese food before, I can say that this one is truly exceptional. You can taste the expertise, the quality of the ingredients, and especially the homemade aspect, which is becoming rare. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The only downside… is that they're closing permanently at the end of the week, which is a real shame given the quality of the establishment. A truly wonderful place that I won't soon forget.
