Dinner here was a highlight of our visit. The atmosphere is quite comfortable and toned down. The dining experience itself was very enjoyable (great selections, wonderful presentation, high level of service) and the taste particularly agreeable for me. I found the price to be very reasonable overall. Chef Nakayama and his team do an excellent job.
Additionally, a final thank you to the kind woman who initially seated us and checked on both me and my wife throughout our meal. I am better with Japanese than French but not fluent and she was quite patient with me as we navigated the language barrier.
We were a bit disappointed because it was not the real Japanese kitchen but more French than Japanese. Very friendly staff/service, nice bar where you can see the chef cooking, good sakés by the glass. Ingredients were very good but for us there were too many dishes with classic sauces. Dessert was not good. One thing that bothered us was that the man who washed the dishes was always looking to the people at the bar and guests could see him working in the kitchen. They better can hide that part of the kitchen.
A restaurant I always go to eat when I come to France.
French by a Japanese chef.
The deliciousness of the food and the quality of the ingredients are amazing!
