We stumbled upon this place by accident. While in Paris, we wanted to try some French cuisine, but the restaurant across the street was on break and we weren't served. We saw Da Piero nearby and decided to stop by, and we don't regret it: the lady was lovely, the food was fantastic – the dumplings with truffle sauce were AMAZING, the lasagna was also delicious, and a glass of wine put us in a fantastic mood despite the rainy weather. We highly recommend it, and if we're ever in Paris again, we'll definitely visit this place.

30/06/2026: Excellent family lunch on a Sunday. The carbonara was among the best we've ever had, the lasagna was excellent, and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable: courteous, respectful, and attentive without being intrusive. The relaxed, family atmosphere immediately makes you want to linger, and the air conditioning is very welcome during the heatwave. The only thing that could be improved is the decor, which could use a modern update. With a refreshed look, this excellent restaurant would be simply perfect. We will definitely be back.

20/07/2026: If the waiter repeatedly pretends not to understand the phrase "water carafe," insist... it's just to push you to buy drinks. I almost contacted the DGCCRF (French consumer protection agency). The waiter probably thought I was a tourist who had just arrived, since the restaurant is right outside the Gare du Nord train station.
12/07/2026: Since we had such fond memories of last year's visit, we went back to Café Foresta for dinner this year. We were especially happy to see Carlos again, who was incredibly friendly last year. Therefore: highly recommended!
