This restaurant is very well located in Sélestat with a large, shaded terrace. It offers many traditional Alsatian dishes as well as a wide selection of meats. Beef hanger steaks and rib-eye steaks are available in XXL sizes if you wish. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. The prices are more than reasonable. Be sure to book ahead as the terrace fills up quickly.

Having eaten there several times, being from Sélestat, I can say that some things are definitely worth the trip!
However, the tarte flambée really needs improvement... the pastry is soggy and the topping, apart from the cream, isn't very generous. I think €14 for a duck breast tarte flambée with only 6 slices of smoked duck breast is really pushing it. It's a shame, the idea wasn't bad.

A wonderful discovery at Troc Café in Sélestat! We had dinner there one evening and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The tarte flambée was excellent, accompanied by a very good spring beer. The desserts were also delicious. A friendly place that we highly recommend!

We arrived as a group of four after 9:30 PM. They welcomed us with open arms. The terrace was busy and had a lovely atmosphere. The tarte flambée is cooked in a wood-fired oven and is delicious. The pork knuckle is also excellent. The waitress was very attentive, taking the time to chat with each of us and share a joke. It's a great place; I highly recommend it.
