TXIK TXAK Chez Soso sur Biarritz

An unpretentious restaurant, perfect for meeting up with friends (which is exactly what we did), in a rugby-loving atmosphere and enjoying simple, hearty meals like grandma used to make. We shared a convivial experience at very reasonable prices (starter, main course, dessert, and coffee: €18.10), welcomed and served by a Biarritz rugby legend. Humor and simplicity reigned. No frills, the focus is on the food and the friendly banter. The atmosphere was filled with stories and wonderful moments from the Biarritz Olympique's glory days, and the spirit of two other pillars of the club—Serge Betsen and Serge Blanco—was palpable. A superb first experience for my niece's 18th birthday! It was fantastic, the whole team is wonderful, from David to Soso. We received a warm welcome and the food was excellent.

A memorable and authentic experience! Recommended by several people, 20 of us came for lunch today. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the rugby legend and his wife—a simply fantastic welcome. The service was both efficient and fast, and the dishes served were very generous, all at a very affordable price. Excellent value for money! The icing on the cake: at the end of the meal, our host picked up his guitar, and we had the privilege of singing "Egoak," a magnificent Basque song, together. A rare and moving moment that we won't soon forget! Another practical point: parking is easy and there's no risk of a ticket, which is very rare in Biarritz. The establishment even has a designated area for truck drivers. A big thank you for this exceptional experience; we will be happy to come back!
