The setting is pleasant, typical of a traditional pub. The service is quick, but it lacks a smile. On the other hand, the dishes and desserts are bland. The portions are small, which is a shame for a pub... I left still hungry. The poutine had stale, undercooked fries. The cheddar and bacon were tasteless. The salad lacked freshness. The dish itself wasn't very interesting, so I advise against ordering it. The gourmet coffee was quite good, but the "Saint-Mamet" fruit cocktail was uninteresting.

Before the concert, we enjoyed delicious regional dishes, followed by an aperitif (in moderation!) with some excellent rum. The staff was quick and friendly; I highly recommend them!

A very warm welcome, good quality food, smiling and efficient staff. Authentic cuisine without any fuss. We will gladly return. The owner and his wife are fantastic.

A great discovery before Fabrice Eboué's show: delicious carbonnade and tender meat accompanied by fries cooked in beef fat, a real treat, plus homemade mayonnaise and a good selection of draft beers. I'll be back for the next show at the Zenith.

We went there yesterday with colleagues. The restaurant was packed due to a TV series binge, making it very noisy and difficult to hear each other. The food was good, and the beef in the carbonnade was high quality. However, the portions were small; a few more fries wouldn't have gone amiss. The green beans came from a can and weren't up to the standard of the rest of the meal; frozen beans would have been preferable if fresh weren't available. The andouillette sausage was tiny. The waitress was very friendly.

21/07/2026: We had dinner on July 21st and what can I say except it was fantastic!! The service was seamless, the waitress was attentive, smiling, and pleasant. I admit the large sharing platter was a little small, but everything was delicious, including the main courses! The food was cooked perfectly and served piping hot. We didn't have to wait at all for our drinks, which was perfect!! The lemonade? Delicious!! We thank the entire team, both front and back of house, for their outstanding work, their smiles, and everything that made this such a pleasant experience! Fun fact: On our first visit, my husband and I stole a peanut for our souvenir box (it was our first restaurant and we're so sorry ^^). But next month, that same peanut will be tattooed on our ankles 🤣🤣

06/08/2026: A chip shop that's definitely worth a visit! The fries are excellent, generously portioned, and the portions are enormous considering the price… it's almost shocking how incredible the value is. The chicken tenders were also delicious, perfectly prepared, and very satisfying. The beer is very good, and the helpful advice on choosing one is really appreciated. The staff is lovely, friendly, smiling, and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Special mention for the great music that adds a really nice atmosphere to the place! A big thank you for this wonderful experience; I highly recommend it. A place to remember!
30/07/2026: The brand-new screens installed since the takeover unfortunately fail to compensate for the blatant decline in product quality. The price increase, coupled with the frankly shameful reduction in portion sizes (the tenders have been halved and the nuggets are barely bigger than a €2 coin), has finally convinced me never to return to this chip shop, which I had particularly enjoyed for several years. Very disappointed by the gentrification of this Lille institution.
