We came during the spring festival and it's clear that this restaurant is a vital part of the lifeblood of the small village of La Douze! The food is high quality, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Arrived at La Douze on a Monday at noon. The first open restaurant I found. A complete meal: soup + charcuterie platter + short rib + profiteroles for dessert for 17 euros—you couldn't ask for better. The meal was very generous and the meat excellent. It's a shame the charcuterie platter only had 10 slices of rosette sausage, fewer slices of salami, but with a little terrine and a small slice of cured ham, it would have been perfect. Given the price, I can't complain. I enjoyed my meal and told everyone I did. Although the person who served me had lost their voice, their friendliness, good humor, and smile made for a very pleasant break. When it came time to pay, I received a second pleasant surprise: a glass of wine and a coffee were offered with the 17-euro menu. I highly recommend this place; I had a wonderful meal in a great atmosphere.

Good restaurant in the small village of La Douze. Warm welcome, very pleasant! Excellent service. Good food, reasonable price! The waiter is very friendly and smiling! Parking opposite. Accessible to people with disabilities. I recommend this place!

We had a wonderful, unfussy meal here. The cuisine is straightforward, but what you get is accurate. Pleasantly surprised. Just go for it, but don't expect high-end fine dining.
