An incredible selection of teas and a beautiful shop with a tea room serving delicious Japanese cakes. There are also many lovely tea-related items that make wonderful gifts. The service is very friendly too. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Lille!

I just realized that I still haven't given this establishment the 5 stars it so richly deserves after several years of patronage. Unami is by far the best tea house I know. It's thanks to them that I tried and fell in love with real, unflavored tea. Without a doubt, my favorite tea room in Lille. A huge selection of teas and fine vintages can be enjoyed on-site in a cozy and quiet room or purchased at the shop counter. The shop also offers many tea accessories, including unique artisan pieces. Their matcha and genmaicha pastries are delicious. The decor is beautiful and soothing. The staff is attentive, very pleasant, and offers good advice. The tea can be served with a classic infusion or with a gong fu cha. The regularly offered workshops allow you to discover teas while being guided through the teas and their history during the tasting. If you love tea, I recommend you visit!
