We regularly go to the Urtxola restaurant in Sare as a family, and it's always a real pleasure. The food is excellent, prepared with quality ingredients, and the service is warm and attentive. The setting is pleasant and welcoming. A must-visit that we highly recommend.

In a corner of Sare, Urtxola stands strong!
The cuisine has a strong, unpretentious northern Spanish flavor, but with that Basque touch that elevates simplicity to another level. Nothing fancy… but everything perfect.
You leave full.
You leave happy.
You leave with the feeling of having eaten at one of those rare gems.
And you understand one thing:
This isn't a place to take pictures. It's a place to eat real food.
If you're looking for a show, keep walking.
If you're looking for authenticity in a dish, Urtxola is a must-visit.

Very attentive and friendly service, the place is great. It has parking.
The food was plentiful and very good quality. I'm giving it 4 stars for the food because the ribeye steak was just average for the price. But the rest of the food was very, very good. We'll be back when we're in the area.

The staff here was very friendly. They didn't speak much English, but we were able to order what we wanted. They made an amazing hot chocolate! One of the best I ever had! 😋 The desserts was amazing! 😋

Excellent food, we had the pleasure of a seasonal meal: a soft and delicious omelet with porcini mushrooms, duck breast with foie gras and black cherry jam, and homemade desserts! Very friendly staff, perhaps it's very busy on the terrace during peak season, but this time there was no wait to be served.
