A charming, typical inn on the border, at the end of a winding country road. The welcome is warm, the tables on the terrace and inside fill up very quickly (it's best to book), and the wait for our first course is a little long, but who cares, we're on vacation, right? The food is home-style, delicious, and plentiful. We had a long but enjoyable time.

Wonderful setting, in the middle of the forest, a haven of peace. The food was very good, with a complete and varied menu. The staff were very friendly and professional, speaking Spanish, Basque, and French fluently. It's well worth a visit.

We were two couples and a child who went for lunch this Saturday. We booked an hour in advance and there was no problem. The service was incredible, very attentive at all times, and the bottle of chilled water waiting on the table was a lovely touch. The food was amazing. All the dishes we ate were: Two very generous and delicious goat cheese salads. Two assortments of croquettes, which came with fried squid. The croquettes were very thin, delicious, and homemade, and the squid was fantastic too. One daily special: anchovies in vinegar and oil, which were beautiful and also delicious. For our main courses, we had: Two duck breasts with potato mille-feuille and red berry confit. Everything was homemade and delicious, from the duck breast to the potato mille-feuille and the confit. We absolutely didn't regret ordering it. One portion of hake, which was one of the fish of the day, a very generous serving with a simple yet delicious preparation. The product was excellent, fresh, and handled very well. One portion of Iberian pork shoulder, which was simply melt-in-your-mouth tender. An excellent product, very well prepared. One portion of ribs, the same excellent product, perfectly prepared. The desserts were: Three portions of rice pudding, which wasn't bad, but compared to the others, I liked it. It was a little bland, but still good. One portion of profiteroles, which were XXL in size but very tasty. One very delicious cheesecake, also made with a flavorful cheese. Without a doubt, we'll return without hesitation when we're in the area.
