Great service and atmosphere. Delicious food, good quality and very tasty. We had the €23 set menu; the combination plate is very filling and satisfying, the coulat was excellent.

We regularly go to the Urtxola restaurant in Sare as a family, and it's always a real pleasure. The food is excellent, prepared with quality ingredients, and the service is warm and attentive. The setting is pleasant and welcoming. A must-visit that we highly recommend.

In a corner of Sare, Urtxola stands strong! The cuisine has a strong, unpretentious northern Spanish flavor, but with that Basque touch that elevates simplicity to another level. Nothing fancy… but everything perfect. You leave full. You leave happy. You leave with the feeling of having eaten at one of those rare gems. And you understand one thing: This isn't a place to take pictures. It's a place to eat real food. If you're looking for a show, keep walking. If you're looking for authenticity in a dish, Urtxola is a must-visit. 📌 Saving this name is a favor you're doing yourself.

17/04/2026: We booked at the last minute. The lovely weather made us want to have lunch on the terrace. Not easy with a family of nine! My choice of this restaurant delighted everyone, young and old. The dishes were very tasty and the value for money was excellent. And the service was top-notch. Well done to the whole team! It's a shame to leave Sare. We would have come back.
08/04/2026: Lovely place to stop for a meal. The service is wonderful and accommodating, the setting is beautiful. The food was delicious and the local fish was ethereal. I’m glad I had the crème brûlée even though I was full as it was delicious. I’ll be back for the food, the see ice and the views.
