A place worth knowing about. A very warm welcome, excellent cuisine, friendly and attentive staff… Due to lack of space, we started inside, and when tables became available, we were seated on the more refreshing terrace. Thank you. There was a bit of a wait, but seriously, are we in such a hurry? And frankly, given the quality of the service, it's well worth the wait. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

We chose this restaurant somewhat by chance after visiting the Larrun train, but we couldn't have made a better choice. In a beautiful location, we ate on the terrace and thoroughly enjoyed the menu. The duck breast, the Iberian pork shoulder, and the hake we ordered were particularly noteworthy. And the desserts were fantastic—both the cheesecake and the profiteroles. Highly recommended.

An amazing place, nestled in the mountains, peaceful and family-friendly, with exquisite food. A €30 set menu with several dishes to choose from. And a children's menu for €9. Excellent service. Thank you very much.

Excellent restaurant tucked away in the woods, perfect before a stop at Venta Berrouet. The food is local and generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the setting is magnificent. I highly recommend it! We ate there 10 years ago and it's still just as good.

We come every year during our holidays and we're never disappointed. The welcome is fantastic, the portions are generous and truly delicious. What a pleasure it was to have lunch on the shaded terrace among the trees, near a stream. Thank you for your kindness.

Delicious Basque cuisine, attentive and very friendly service. Special mention for the fish of the day, monkfish and cod, perfectly prepared and delicious. The homemade marinated anchovies are also a treat! Thank you!

20/05/2026: Hotel with excellent value for money. Friendly and welcoming staff. Spacious room, comfortable bed, unbeatable price in Sare this time of year. The only downside is that you should leave the doors to the corridor leading to the rooms open (they are closed by the staff) otherwise they slam shut every time someone passes by.
04/05/2026: Everything was fantastic. The room was exactly as advertised. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast.
