Vent de Soleil sur Saint-Guilhem-Le-Desert

Super bruschetta. Crispy, juicy, delicious cheese, well-seasoned and topped. They only offer light meals and drinks. But the location is unique, under a huge plane tree. Parking is available on the outskirts of town in the large visitor parking lots.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a truly wonderful time at Vent de Soleil in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert 😊 First of all, the welcome was fantastic, with smiling and friendly staff – it was a real pleasure! The restaurant is very well located, right on the village square, with a lovely atmosphere. It's so nice to sit down and enjoy the setting after exploring Saint-Guilhem. We ordered the Caprice du Berger, a croque-monsieur, and a croque-madame: everything was delicious and well-presented. And of course, we finished with a little something sweet 😋 Nutella waffle, Nutella crepe, and whipped cream waffle… we really indulged! A simple, pleasant, and friendly place, with great food and excellent service. We'll gladly return on our next visit to Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert! ❤️

Disappointing meal... two set meals at €18 each for very little: a portion of salad, melted cheese, five new potatoes, and a slice of country ham straight out of its plastic packaging. The menu also included a glass of wine or a cordial... we had to ask for it... Given the location, we expected quality, even with a simple meal... what a shame. Be curious... venture further into the village; the good restaurants are just beyond! The service and the setting were impeccable. We won't be returning...

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sweet crepes served at this establishment. The village square is also very pleasant and the service friendly, making it ideal for an afternoon snack after a walk (although you sometimes have to be patient to get a table).

We stopped by chance. We ordered buckwheat crepes for him and bruschetta for me. It was good, I recommend it, I'll go back.

A refreshing break in the heart of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert… After a beautiful afternoon paddling through the Hérault Gorges, we had a mission of utmost importance: finding a terrace to cool off! We found the perfect spot, a small terrace nestled in a magnificent square in Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, right next to the stunning Gellone Abbey… The setting is simply magnificent: the old stones, the characterful facades, the little cobbled streets… Despite the crowd, the waitress was friendly, smiling, and very efficient, which deserves to be highlighted. Quick and pleasant service, perfect for a well-deserved break after our exertion… It was only a quick stop, but a truly relaxing one, with that special atmosphere that I love so much in this village! We highly recommend this place and we will be back…

I went there recently for a crepe with a scoop of ice cream and a syrup drink (not very sweet, though), it was lovely. Beyond the quality of the snacks, the staff is friendly, the restrooms are clean and accessible, and there's a water fountain nearby. Very well located.
