After 12 days of hiking on the magnificent Chemin de Saint-Guilhem, what a pleasure to celebrate our last stop in this small, intimate and warm restaurant. A faultless one for Madame in the dining room, for her smile and good humor and congratulations for Monsieur in the kitchen for his inventive and succulent dishes. An unmissable address in this emblematic village.

A truly great discovery! Poached egg, semi-cooked tuna with vegetables and risotto, tiramisu with (real) coffee, everything was excellent. Friendly welcome, nice room for those looking for a little freshness. We highly recommend.

We stopped by chance at this restaurant whose menu really appealed to us. And we did well! A real treat for the taste buds but also for the eyes. I didn't expect to discover dishes of this quality in a restaurant located on such a busy tourist site (we know them as "tourist trap" restaurants, eh). This is why we were looking for a short and efficient menu, we wanted fresh products. And it was the case. Really good value for money, for 4 people (2 complete meals and 2 starter/main course, plus 120e coffees) Not to mention the efficiency of the service and the good humor of the cook. I recommend 200%.

Lieu très agréable, très belle découverte. Produits de qualité, poissons cuits parfaitement, les légumes en accompagnement mériteraient d'être sublimés par un assaisonnement. Les propriétaires sont charmants.

Musee Village D'antan

21/08/2023: Superb village crossed by streams which can become rivers at the edge of the Hérault gorges. The walk is pleasant in the footsteps of Guilhem, the abbey is magnificent with its cloister, a small free museum allowing you to understand the history of this village. A pretty square with its majestic tree where you can cool off at the fountain and eat in the establishments around the tree and the square. There are many shops, some for arts and crafts or local products, others for tourists. To access this village we took the parking option with the shuttle which takes us to the village for €6, very practical because there is very little parking in the village, and the parking lot is next to the Pont du Diable beach.
17/08/2023: Excellent experience to live with the owner, craftsman, artist, very kind and passionate. We come back every time we pass through the region. His work is breathtaking! It's definitely a place worth the detour while passing through this charming historic and tourist village.
