⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 27 years. We've been coming to Verdi for 27 years… and, much to the owners' dismay, for 27 years we've almost invariably ordered the same pizza: the Primavera! It's all the more unfair to them because Verdi is so much more than a pizzeria. The menu is full of pasta and authentic Italian dishes, the daily specials are carefully curated, and the portions are generous: in short, there's a whole Italy here that our obsessive loyalty to the Primavera prevents us far too often from exploring. But if we've been coming back for 27 years, it's obviously not just for a pizza. Verdi is a true neighborhood gem, the kind Paris has fewer and fewer of: regulars, families, people you run into, a warm welcome, and that very pleasant feeling of being in a place with a soul. And then there are the white tablecloths: that little extra touch, that hint of Italian class that gives the place even more charm without ever taking away its warmth. There are undoubtedly more insightful opinions on the menu. Ours can be summed up in one sentence: when you go back to the same restaurant for 27 years, it must be something seriously good. And we promise: one day, we'll order something other than the Primavera. Maybe.
