Very Sushi'c sur Tarbes

I've ordered from them several times, both for takeout and to eat in. You can tell the quality of the sushi is excellent. Their set menus are appealing, and they have a nice variety. I also really like that the kitchen is open, so you can actually see how they prepare the food. The service is friendly, and it's easy to chat with the cashier while you wait for your order. The place is very nicely decorated, clean, and very elegant. There are just two downsides: (1) Their sweet soy sauce has a slightly bitter, alcoholic aftertaste, and in my opinion, it's not really the kind of sweet soy sauce we're used to (but that's a matter of taste). (2) They don't always respect their closing hours; they close earlier when it's not busy. Sometimes you trust the posted hours, you want to order, and then it's already closed. Once you're used to ordering, you already know what to expect and order in advance to be prepared, even if it means putting the order in the fridge while you eat dinner. I've found myself several times ordering almost 10-20 minutes before they close (without realizing it), and having to come pick up my order early.

I wanted to try Japanese cuisine and have an aperitif: it opens at 6 pm. Unfortunately, it's only takeout; the restaurant doesn't serve until 7:30 pm. So, I ordered a fresh dish to go in this hot weather. 1. It's a real meal with smoked trout, pieces of mango and avocado, all sorts of vegetables cut very thinly lengthwise, and a special rice that I imagine is Japanese-style. 2. With the sauce on the side, plus a lime wedge for the smoked trout, and chopsticks, it's a real treat! 3. What a great discovery of Japanese cuisine! I had a meal in my air-conditioned car for €14.50, plus ice-cold mineral water bought locally. 4. Friendly and pleasant service...

The sushi was of exceptional quality, and the ingredients were very fresh. The poke bowls were also worth mentioning; they were absolutely delicious. Thank you for the warm welcome from all the staff and for the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the restaurant!

A delightful surprise! A warm and discreet welcome, a truly exceptional menu—the freshness and quality of the fish, the cuts, the size of the sushi… I struggle to understand the negative reviews about the service; that wasn't at all the experience we had. I highly recommend it!

We received a very warm welcome, even though we arrived before opening time – a rare occurrence – and we really appreciated it! Thank you! We chose a €59 platter for two, which was generous and excellent in terms of freshness, quality, and variety. We will be back.
