An institution in Sarreguemines.
Reservations are often made a week in advance, as it's very popular.
The waiters and waitresses are always top-notch, doing their best to resolve any unforeseen issues.
The food is excellent quality for the price.
The menu isn't huge, which is a sign of quality, but the breakfasts change frequently depending on the season.
The open kitchen clearly demonstrates that there's nothing to hide; it's far from "Kitchen Nightmares." It's more like a maestro calmly directing his team. A quick visit to the restrooms shows that everything is clean. One minor drawback: if you have a disability, I imagine it might be difficult to use the facilities (I can't comment on this aspect as I don't know how they handle accessibility).

As for the food, no complaints, it's always very good and beautifully presented.
However, it wasn't very pleasant to be served so quickly, not to say rushed, on a Saturday night when we had booked weeks in advance. We had barely sat down, and despite my friend going to the restroom as soon as we arrived, when I was asked if we wanted an aperitif (excuse me, I'm waiting for my friend to return). We had barely started our aperitif when the main course arrived… the main course (which wasn't finished). We were asked twice if we could have our plates cleared (aren't we allowed to take a break between bites?), and the same thing happened with dessert!
We overheard the waitresses talking about a table that had been there for 30 minutes and hadn't yet ordered, and they said this with a sigh!
This isn't a fast-food restaurant, after all.
Furthermore, the open kitchen is all well and good, but you leave completely enveloped in the smells of every single dish, from head to toe.

To put it simply, if you love good pizzas and varied, excellent menus, then head to Vesuvio.
The owner is in the kitchen and the owner's wife is in the dining room.
Friendly and helpful, I can't recommend it enough.
The food is absolutely delicious.
If you're in Sarreguemines (and the locals already know it), then choose this excellent restaurant, but be sure to book in advance, otherwise you won't get a table. You'll understand why.
We love it!

Excellent restaurant. The staff are very professional, incredibly kind, and very helpful 💖 Plus, the kitchen is right in front of the customers' tables, so they really have nothing to hide. Kudos to the chefs because the dishes are delicious 😋 What's also really great is that you can share a pizza with an aperitif 😍 One small drawback: it's a shame the beef isn't French, we have such good producers nearby 😒 But that's just a minor detail, we'll definitely be back 🥰 Best of luck to the whole team 🤗

The decor is very pretty, and the building's old facade is a nice touch. Arriving without a reservation on a busy evening, we still managed to get a table. The three-cheese pizza is quite respectable for a fair price. One small detail: the kitchen is directly open to the dining area, a sign that they have absolutely nothing to hide.
