The food was excellent. Nice complementary appetizers offered with the usual fresh bread and water. Our first course or entrée, the foie gras was delicious. I opted for a lamb dish which was succulent and very flavorful along with very good vegetable side. Shared a tart with vanilla and raspberry ice cream and a meringue topping, and it was delicious. Presentation was excellent. I would’ve liked to have been seated more inside the restaurant, we were too close to the entrance, but there were three of us and it was obviously a very difficult place to get a reservation, understandably so!

The products were of high quality. However, the service was a bit disorganized. You have to ask for a description of the wines, but to be fair, he's working alone with his chef. In short, for a Bib Gourmand, a little more commitment wouldn't hurt.

A superb discovery! We had dinner at Vintrépide last night with friends, and everything was perfect for a wonderful evening.
We were seated in the quiet cellar, surrounded by bottles of wine—a truly intimate atmosphere.
The welcome was warm and attentive, and the wine list is simply outstanding. As for the food, the selection is intentionally limited, which for me is a real sign of quality: seasonal produce, homemade dishes… and this is confirmed on the plate! We sampled several starters and main courses: the cooking was perfectly executed, the seasonings spot-on, and each dish was meticulously prepared.
Special mention should also go to the fact that there are only two of them, one in the kitchen and one serving. A huge congratulations for this daily dedication—we know the realities of the profession, and it's not always easy.
It's the kind of place you leave feeling like you had a truly great time, with absolutely no regrets. As a restaurant owner myself, I'm quite demanding… and this place is flawless: 10/10.

We dined at this restaurant twice and absolutely loved it. Although we no longer drink wine, but we still really enjoyed looking through the wine list. The owner clearly has a deep passion for wine and offers an excellent selection—you can truly feel how much care goes into it.
The same attention is reflected in the food. The menu is not very large, but every dish is prepared with so much heart. You can taste the care and thought put into every bite.
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. I hope that the next time we return to Aix, this restaurant will still maintain its wonderful standards.

We were lucky to dine surrounded by a thousand treasures: right there in the cellar.
The scallops, like the rest of the meal (sea bass for some, lamb for a third), were perfectly prepared.
The wine selection was incredible; the restaurateur expertly guided us towards a 2022 Fixin that was simply perfect.
We'll be back as soon as possible.

This little restaurant is a gem. A simple yet exquisitely executed menu, a wine cellar brimming with connoisseurs, and discreet service. At lunchtime, scallops with truffles as a starter, sweetbreads and veal fillet with truffles as a main course. Paired with a fine 2020 white wine from Pas de l'Escalette. A delightful find just steps from Aix's town hall.
