An absolute hidden gem. A toss up between modern and traditional French cuisine, with an exceptional selection of French regional wines. The service was outstanding. My partner and I had lunch here yesterday and it was wonderful. We both ordered the 3 course lunch special and it was delicious, great value for money and highly recommended. The service was great, lovely decor and nice and cool, great bathroom too. We also had a lovely glass of wine white and rose and they were tasty. This is definitely a place you should put on the list to visit for lunch when in Aix-en-Provence.

A concise yet delightful menu (sea bass and zucchini blossoms as a starter, lamb and sea bass as a main course – exquisite!…), a very interesting wine selection. And a last-minute team this evening (Eric was exceptionally absent). William told us the history of the restaurant, explained the dishes, and recounted how his wife taught him the art of pastry-making (with verbena-infused peach and chocolate dessert to prove it). Try the bread too – it's homemade! 😉 A truly heartwarming, almost familial experience (to which his daughter and young employee also contributed). In short: the kind of restaurateurs that lovers of good taste absolutely need! Thank you for this wonderful evening…

The food was excellent. Nice complementary appetizers offered with the usual fresh bread and water. Our first course or entrée, the foie gras was delicious. I opted for a lamb dish which was succulent and very flavorful along with very good vegetable side. Shared a tart with vanilla and raspberry ice cream and a meringue topping, and it was delicious. Presentation was excellent. I would’ve liked to have been seated more inside the restaurant, we were too close to the entrance, but there were three of us and it was obviously a very difficult place to get a reservation, understandably so!

The products were of high quality. However, the service was a bit disorganized. You have to ask for a description of the wines, but to be fair, he's working alone with his chef. In short, for a Bib Gourmand, a little more commitment wouldn't hurt.

A superb discovery! We had dinner at Vintrépide last night with friends, and everything was perfect for a wonderful evening. We were seated in the quiet cellar, surrounded by bottles of wine—a truly intimate atmosphere. The welcome was warm and attentive, and the wine list is simply outstanding. As for the food, the selection is intentionally limited, which for me is a real sign of quality: seasonal produce, homemade dishes… and this is confirmed on the plate! We sampled several starters and main courses: the cooking was perfectly executed, the seasonings spot-on, and each dish was meticulously prepared. Special mention should also go to the fact that there are only two of them, one in the kitchen and one serving. A huge congratulations for this daily dedication—we know the realities of the profession, and it's not always easy. It's the kind of place you leave feeling like you had a truly great time, with absolutely no regrets. As a restaurant owner myself, I'm quite demanding… and this place is flawless: 10/10.
