We loved the service, the ladies were fun and friendly and the other one recommended very good wines. The food was tasty and the right portion size ❤️

Nestled in the heart of historic Colmar, a stone's throw from the picturesque Little Venice, Winstub Brenner is one of those places where you can savor cuisine that combines authenticity and refinement, prepared with fresh market produce. You feel welcomed, valued, almost like a regular from the very first visit and on every subsequent visit.
During asparagus season, the asparagus from Mrs. Frick, served here, is without a doubt the best I have ever tasted.
My friend, who was really craving sauerkraut, was delighted: fragrant, balanced, and generous without being heavy, it's one of those dishes that makes you want to come back. She's already planning to introduce it to her family on their next visit in August—a sure sign of quality.
And here, everything is meticulously attended to, right down to the dessert. Their strawberry cake was delicious: light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. A truly indulgent finale, demonstrating that culinary excellence doesn't end with the main course. The staff, always smiling, helpful, and attentive, occasionally cracking a joke or sharing an anecdote.
A must-visit!

In a small, very welcoming setting, dining here was a superb culinary experience. The dishes are beautifully prepared and presented, a feast for both the eyes and the palate. Speaking multiple languages is a real plus in this restaurant, and we were able to experience a glimpse of the quality of service in English and German.
We truly appreciated the high standards of customer service and will gladly return if the opportunity arises.

A quick stop during a trip with my partner, and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the food, both of which were as charming and enjoyable as the setting itself.
A calm and intimate atmosphere, ideal for a candlelit dinner for food lovers! 🍽️😁

I ordered sauerkraut that was tasteless and bland (it must have been over-drained). I told the waitress! I'm still waiting for a response from the kitchen… For a Wistub, this is appalling. My son had a ham hock which was very good. And the crème brûlée was excellent. How can the Michelin Guide give such a favorable review?!
