The reservation was made online, then you receive a text message and an email—a bit intimidating—to confirm or cancel it, and then you have to do it all again on the day of the reservation... this detail wasn't great.
Otherwise, the waitresses and waiters were very friendly. The meal was good and plentiful. Total cost: Touristy 💶💶💶 😉

Service was cold, and they forgot our drinks. The pork was soft but so salty that it woke me up at night. The fish was good. The dessert was good too, although still frozen when served.

We booked for business. Booking online was very easy. The welcome was personalized and warm. The service was very smooth, even though the restaurant was almost full. We had a very good meal; the Arctic char and the hanger steak were excellent, as were the daily tart and the coconut blancmange. Clearly, this is a very high-quality restaurant. The price was disproportionate to the food served. The place is nice, and the staff are too, but you can find semi-gastronomic restaurants with a set menu of starter, main course, and dessert for under 40 euros; here, it's just the main course for 40 euros! The sauerkraut, even if it was good, was served with just a single, lonely potato... and what about the mirabelle plum tart, which you could only glimpse occasionally under an indefinable layer on a crust that had absolutely no substance... what a shame... 100 euros for two people without starters, including a beer and a glass of wine, is expensive...

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The staff is incredibly friendly. What we particularly appreciated were the regional dishes. Freshly prepared, they offer a great glimpse into the culinary delights of Colmar and the surrounding area. We had the winemaker's salad (the cheese was amazing!), the steak with garlic, and the tarte du jour with mirabelle plums. The local/regional wines and beers were also delicious! Reservations are highly recommended, as the restaurant is extremely popular due to its cuisine and location.
