The best shank of my life! I'm a lover of this cut of meat and have tried it in various places where it's considered a typical dish, but never so good: tender and flavorful meat that never gets old, thanks in part to the refreshing side dishes and the unique horseradish sauce. I've been back to try other dishes, and they've all been excellent, but the shank remains my favorite! The waitress upstairs was very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is rustic and warm. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious, but unfortunately, I was disappointed with the service, especially since the wine list didn't mention that the wine was only available by the bottle, not by the glass, even though the wine list included a glass option, and I wanted to try other wines. So I felt like it was a con.

As we did last year, we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Winstub Petit Venise again this year – and once more had a wonderful evening. We really appreciate this cozy restaurant. The small, carefully curated menu offers exactly what you'd expect from a visit to Alsace. The foie gras was superb and, as always, beautifully presented, the snails were wonderfully seasoned, and the beef was cooked to perfection. Add to that delicious potatoes and a good wine – what more could you ask for? We were able to enjoy the evening in complete peace and felt very welcome. Whether for tourists looking for a special Alsatian meal or for guests wanting to spend a pleasant evening, this restaurant comes highly recommended. Thank you for the lovely evening. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was excellent! (We tried an appetizer and two main courses.) The Colmar beer was really good, highly recommended! Fast and friendly service. Small but super cozy atmosphere with little windows overlooking the streets of this charming village. Best dish overall: Pan-Fried Munster Cheese, green salad.

I visited Wistub de la Petite Venise, a highly acclaimed Alsatian tavern located in the heart of the historic Little Venice district in Colmar, France [tripadvisor.com]. The restaurant is housed in a traditional half-timbered building, typical of the Alsace region, featuring a rustically decorated interior. I had the Bœuf Gros Sel, an EXCELLENT choice, paired with a Muscat d'Alsace, a dry white wine that was incredibly aromatic and fruity! If you are in Colmar, you must visit Wistub de la Petite Venise for its authentic Alsacian atmosphere and EXCELLENT food!

A wonderful discovery while strolling through the streets of Colmar. All the dishes were well received by the guests (including the children).

The food was really delicious, we were three which all of us were super happy with food and service. I recommend this place to have a real french food.
