One of my favorite restaurants! The food is excellent, the kebabs are delicious. I go back regularly and highly recommend it! Very authentic.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Warning: If you're looking for the best yakitori in Paris, stop reading and book a table at YASUBE. This Japanese institution has been delighting Parisians for over 33 years, and frankly, there's no question about it. It's in a league of its own. At YASUBE, there's no Instagram-worthy decor, no theatrics, no smoke and mirrors. Here, everything is on the plate. And what a plate it is... We always start with the Deluxe Sashimi. And when they say "deluxe," they're not just marketing hype. It's probably one of the best sashimi platters you'll ever eat in Paris. Every bite makes you want to silently glance at your neighbor to make sure they're having the same experience. Then come the skewers. One. Two. Five. Ten. And suddenly, you lose track of how much you ordered because everything is so delicious and your brain has shut down. Even their bowl of rice is outrageous. Rice. Just rice. And yet, it's the kind of rice that makes you reflect on all the bad rice you've ever eaten. Upstairs, the yakitori is grilled over real coals. The taste is incredible. However, your clothes will probably leave with an official Japanese grilling certificate. If you have a romantic date right after, choose the downstairs dining room instead. And let's talk about the staff: lovely, smiling, kind, and efficient. A team that makes you want to come back again and again. The chefs? Charcoal wizards. YASUBE is the kind of place you almost hesitate to recommend because you want to keep it a secret. It's authentic, generous, unpretentious, and absolutely amazing. The welcome, service, and food were all good.

You absolutely must go for the kebabs! Otherwise, the lunchtime bento box is very good, well-balanced in both flavor and ingredients.

Very good, the cooking was perfect.

A small, unassuming kebab shop that doesn't look like much from the outside. The experience was dampened by the presence of an unwelcome guest at the counter. The staff apologized and replaced our tea and cutlery. I regret that there was no gesture of goodwill, however. I had ordered the bento box; the kebabs were good, but there were still bones in the sushi.

The bento box was absolutely excellent. The fish was very fresh and delicious. The kebabs were excellent. The bento box is very well presented. I recommend arriving about ten minutes before opening time to get a seat. Green tea and a salad are offered while you wait for your meal.

The food was excellent and plentiful. It does smell of smoke/grilled food inside. If you go downstairs, you can eat on tatami mats. Honestly, I recommend it and I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in the area!
