The sushi and sashimi were slightly better than average, although the freshness varied, but they were definitely not worth the price. €38 for 9 pieces of sushi and 6 maki rolls, some of which had cucumber... what a joke!

A fantastic, authentic restaurant. It was air-conditioned, so we were able to dine in peace. I recommend their chirashi and their à la carte offerings.

The wait staff was good and attentive but otherwise a bland experience. Chirashi was flavorless, wakame-cucumber salad had almost no wakame in it. Salmon maki and sashimi were bland as well. Tempura and fatty tuna was good but Im afraid they have to up their game at this price, you can eat a lot better in Paris.

Excellent restaurant, the dishes are delicious and have a truly different flavor from typical Japanese restaurants in Paris. The rice is delicious, and I recommend the chirashi.
Be prepared to order generously, as some portions are quite small.

A Japanese restaurant whose menu mainly features fish. The lunch specials are competitively priced considering the location. The portions could be a bit more generous. The tuna karaage with lemon zest is better than with mayonnaise. The tempura with a plump shrimp enhances the flavor. The chirashi is good, but nothing special. However, the rice is seasoned with just the right amount of vinegar. The servers are friendly and welcoming. Reservations are recommended, even for lunch, especially for large groups.

Restaurant recommended by a friend who's a Michelin-starred chef: we weren't disappointed! Tried and tested with my Japanese family :) The menu changes with the seasons, and it's a real treat.

The fish (smoked chirashi) was a small portion but very tasty.
The wasabi was horseradish flavored.
The udon soup was good.
The service was impeccable.
Overall, the price is a bit high for what you get.

We found this place by mistake and were so lucky to have done so! The food was amazing, service super attentive but not overbearing and they have a great sake selection. Get the beef wagyu sushi! Will definitely be back when I’m next in Paris.

Ronald Ivauch, food critic, former Michelin Guide contributor, notably poison control officer at the Élysée Palace under Chirac. This restaurant is authentically Japanese. The sushi is good, but if you want advice from a true expert, order à la carte. If you order from the set menus, the fish dishes are from a different drawer (they're so old that even during Chirac's time they were in the same drawer) and they're not as good. The Wagyu sushi is excellent. Their grilled mackerel is a masterclass, and their matcha ice cream is very well done. So overall it's good, but beware of the "pleb drawer" (the menu item).
