A restaurant located in the heart of Châtelet, with a warm and inviting decor that reminded me of my many travels. However, I found the portions a bit small. We were still hungry at the end of the meal; luckily, there was bread. I chose the Pytheas the Greek, but I was a little disappointed. I found it rather bland and expected more flavor. A mixed experience for me.

This restaurant is the discovery of the year! I tried two different menus and loved them both times. The food is delicious and the selection is really interesting. The staff is also fantastic; you can tell they're passionate about what they do. I highly recommend it!

What a great find this bar-restaurant is! The setting is cozy, the cocktail menu is original (I especially loved their house creations), and the tapas are generous and well-prepared—perfect for nibbling with friends. Ideal for an evening out with friends in Paris. Highly recommended!

We're never disappointed at Zango. The food is always delicious, and the service is friendly and efficient. Limiting the menu choices for my group allowed for quick service for everyone. Only the drinks, ordered separately at the end, took a little longer. We were also competing with a larger group. Not easy! 😅 Update from Saturday, June 6, 2026: We returned to celebrate three birthdays, and as usual, we were delighted to come back. I'm raising my rating from 4 to 5 for the service because the staff did their best to meet our needs throughout the evening, including putting a candle on each dessert for the three people celebrating another year of their birthdays :-)

Jour et Nuit

16/11/2025: No, this restaurant isn't "Jour et Nuit" anymore, which I didn't know. Now it's "El Walima," with beautiful decor and, above all, delicious food, Masha'Allah. The kebabs 🍢 are cooked fresh on-site over a wood fire, served with salads and sides. The rice is very good, as are the sautéed potatoes and the minced meat sandwiches—amazing, but a bit pricey (€3). The service was a little disorganized; there was no menu and prices weren't displayed, so it felt a bit unprepared. Perhaps they've just opened, but the staff is very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go back next time I'm in Paris ❤️. Maybe they'll improve things. Oh yes, I almost forgot the harira soup—so good, Masha'Allah! 👍🏻

13/09/2026: We really enjoyed the food, especially tacos.
13/09/2026: I had the Tacos with beef, and they were really tasty. I was so happy to find a halal Mexican restaurant which is usually very rare these days. The owner and waiter/cook were both really nice and attentive. I would come again next time I am in Paris.
