27/02/2026: Patapain is great except for one drawback: the students. They make noise and, above all, they're incredibly vulgar. They need to understand that this is a public place, so they need to respect the good customers. Personally, I'm shocked because most of them come and don't buy anything, or they go to Lidl to get their food and then come to Patapain to eat it. I've seen it all!

13/02/2026: The price is reasonable, but be aware that while the website states it opens at 6:30 PM, this isn't the case; it opens at 7 PM.
01/02/2026: An hour's wait before we were served our first course.
The food quality is comparable to an all-you-can-eat Asian restaurant.
Except here you pay for each item.
So, to eat something of the same quality, we spent two to three times the price we would have paid just across the street.
The service is appalling. The waiters arrive with babies strapped to their backs... and in jogging pants, running around everywhere... no manners whatsoever...

The menu was amazing; I highly recommend the egg cocotte with foie gras—it was divine!

29/01/2026: We had a table reserved in advance, but upon arrival, we were told that not everything was available and that only a very limited list of ingredients was available, due to upcoming renovations (why be open then?). The service was mediocre; we had to ask for bread and water, and despite the carafe being empty, it was never replenished. The food selection was very limited; aside from burgers and a salad, that was it. The same went for drinks and desserts. In short, we weren't convinced by Buffalo Grill to begin with, and this experience completely sealed the deal for us not to return.
27/01/2026: My partner and I come here often. We're happy to hear that it's getting a makeover! The service is good. It's a shame they sometimes run out of certain dishes.

27/02/2026: I had breakfast after a blood test. A large hot chocolate and small brioches. And cream puffs for the road. Everything was very good. Upstairs there's a large, very pleasant room overlooking the boulevard. It's very nice to have breakfast there.

25/02/2026: Hello, I had the pleasure of participating in a discovery afternoon at Patapain, located at 2 Route de Villebret in Montluçon. In two hours, we made bread, brioches, apple turnovers, raspberry tarts, and much more. It was a very enriching experience. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly, smiling, and efficient. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. You can eat at any time, and it's open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Well done! Plus, there's a private parking lot, blue short-term parking spaces, and a large parking lot across the street. Everything you could want, in short. Don't hesitate to stop by; you'll be pleasantly surprised by the variety of what's on offer. For more details, visit their website.
