27/08/2024: We came across this restaurant by chance while stopping in Montluçon, and we were not at all disappointed! everything was excellent, from aperitif to dessert! the super warm welcome, the super friendly servers and the great atmosphere!
We will come back for sure when we are passing through!

Homemade and delicious dishes. Favorite on the pho broth which was super comforting
In addition, excellent value for money. They are generous with the portions!!

13/12/2024: This little restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we weren't expecting anything. Well it was a pleasant surprise. Exquisite, tender, hearty, refined dishes, and obviously homemade. A attentive waitress, and very reasonable prices. We will go back to try the rest of the menu!

26/09/2024: I really liked eating at patapain. Between noon and 2, left work, menu with my chocolate cake and my sandwich. Now it's rare for me to go there. But in 5 years, I have noticed that the menu prices are still the same or even more but with smaller quantities. The piece of chocolate cake, 2 bites, the sandwich getting smaller and smaller. What's going on, the French eat less or we always pay more for less!!!! This leaves you thinking. Smaller, more expensive!!!!
14/08/2024: The pastries were good, I really liked the peach donuts, the sliced chicken sandwich was perhaps lacking a little chicken, the shop is pretty but on the other hand the service was a little slow to say that there was no one there at that time except a few customers before us but there were two in the store.

20/08/2024: I come there every 10/12 days to buy my 20 cereal baguettes, always well received by the very friendly and smiling staff, who agree to cook my baguettes separately which I ask not overcooked (white in fact). I have been a customer there for 4 years, I have no intention of changing and I highly recommend this establishment.

22/12/2024: Bad, slow service, lack of organization. I didn't eat my dish....No glass for water or wine. Unsmiling staff
At the dawn of 2025, when we say we don't eat meat we are offered 1 piece of cheese especially since I have paid for my full menu, it's 2 p.m. and I'm hungry!!
I hope that when we return it's not the same restaurant...

12/09/2024: Perfect stay at the B&B HOTEL Montluçon Center!
As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a big smile by the reception team, always available and very professional. Their warm welcome immediately made me feel at ease.
The room was spacious, clean and above all extremely comfortable, with quality bedding which guarantees restful nights. A true haven of peace, because it was also very quiet, perfect for a good rest.
Breakfast is another highlight! Not only is the buffet varied and delicious, but the view from the room overlooks the Cher, which provides a peaceful and pleasant touch to start the day well.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality stay in Montluçon. Excellent value for money! 👌

26/07/2024: Wednesday 24! ; What was my surprise when I approached the entrance to the store to ask for information and heard the security guard (in red) yell: I quote “I don’t care about the customers’ balls!” Loudly and giggling with I suppose friends and banging on walls and table edges. Well done ! I quickly gave up on the idea of asking anything from this guy. It's a shame because I've always had a good image of fire guards.
