We were just passing through and hadn't made a reservation. It was 2:30 pm on a Sunday, so it was great to find a restaurant still serving in Montluçon. We sat down and ordered. The service was very friendly, and the dishes were good and generous. A very pleasant surprise indeed. Thank you!

Excellent food, but the value for money needs improvement. We had a very good meal at this restaurant. The dishes are flavorful and showcase Auvergne specialties beautifully: traditional and generous cuisine that clearly deserves 4 stars. However, there was a slight drawback regarding the service, with a lack of organization that resulted in some waiting time. The main negative point, however, concerns the €35 set menu. Looking at the prices of the dishes on the à la carte menu, you realize that several combinations of starter, main course, and dessert ultimately cost less than €35. To really get your money's worth from this set menu, you almost have to choose the most expensive options, particularly the largest cut of red meat. I found this a bit disappointing, especially since the waiters insist that it's more economical to order the set menu. In the end, depending on your choices, this isn't necessarily the case. Nevertheless, it remains a good place to discover Auvergne cuisine, with truly excellent dishes. A few improvements to the organization of the service and especially to the consistency of the €35 menu would make the experience even better.

Living at our own pace, we particularly appreciated this restaurant, which accepted us for a very late lunch... at 3:45 pm. The Caesar salads and desserts were perfect and served quickly and with a smile, at very reasonable prices. We clearly didn't try the entire menu or the service during peak hours, but it was great for us, and in a very pleasant setting.

A rather mixed review. The typical dish lacked flavor in our opinion. The ice cream was good, the crepe mediocre.
