06/04/2026: Excellent boulangerie making breads and pastrie - really enjoyed torte de blettes with home made quality. Kind and friendly staff are attentive and fast. I have finally discovered my favourite boulangerie in Canges-sur-mer!

17/03/2026: We hired Mr. Jamais to create a tiered cake for our son's 20th birthday. He created a true masterpiece, as beautiful as it was delicious. All the guests were delighted. It was absolutely divine. The service at the pastry shop was excellent. Mr. Jamais is a very kind person. He was attentive, welcoming, and offered great advice. Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this establishment.

Very expensive for what I ate...plus the other diners were noisy, rude, and inconsiderate! I'd been wanting to have lunch there for a long time, but I won't be going back.

Nothing to hint at what's happening in the kitchen. And yet. Behind this almost austere decor, a French chef—assisted by his Japanese wife, whose precise and discreet service evokes the customs of the archipelago—creates cuisine of unexpected rigor. The ingredients are fresh, the techniques masterful, the dishes conceived with a meticulousness that contrasts with the simplicity of the setting. First, the tonkatsu: impeccable breading, perfectly crisp, juicy meat. A starter that sets the tone. Then, the goma udon: a delicately vinegared sesame broth, perfectly cooked noodles, a balance of flavors that testifies to true expertise. The trio of ice creams—green tea, sesame, and yuzu—concludes the meal with a fragrant simplicity, without a single false note. A glass of Ume Shu accompanies the meal, a light plum liqueur, dangerously easy to drink. We leave with the feeling of having discovered a simple place that does things right, cleanly and sincerely. A restaurant that doesn't try to be flashy, but masters the essentials: flavor.

I was greeted with great kindness and professionalism by the entire team, always smiling and attentive, not forgetting the owners, whose warm welcome makes all the difference. I discovered the set menu, a truly delightful experience from beginning to end: a remarkably fresh, delicate, and perfectly seasoned scallop carpaccio, followed by flavorful, generous, and delicious shrimp pasta. To finish, a light and perfectly balanced strawberry soup with whipped cream. Everything was absolutely excellent: the quality of the ingredients, the impeccable freshness of the seafood, the perfect balance of flavors, and the care taken with each dish. You can immediately taste the use of fresh, high-quality ingredients, as is evident throughout their entire menu, which I wholeheartedly recommend. A truly delicious and enjoyable experience in a friendly setting where you always feel welcome. Thank you again to the whole team for this delightful moment; I'm never disappointed and I will definitely be back.
