06/05/2024: This place really upset me… I was very surprised by the city of Menton, I could even say that it is one of the most beautiful cities in France that I have been able to visit...yet the finale of my vacation there was not so good and all because of Côté Bistrot… My family and I chose this place for our meal. We read quite a few good reviews and everything indicated that this “wine bar” is the perfect spot for us. The hostess/waitress welcomed us and offered us a table on the large terrace. To start we chose a bottle of wine and a board of cold meats and cheese... And then the problems began... After taking note of our order, the waitress made a face, as if she was not happy with what we ordered. Shortly after, the manager of the “wine bar” came to see us and told us that we had to vacate the table if we weren’t going to eat because they were “a restaurant” and not a wine bar. I felt like I was being kicked out and we decided not to stay there… Here I give some points for the manager and waitress to think about: - If this place is not a wine bar why do you display it on the windows and doors? In this case it is better to rebrand the spot and remove the word “wine bar”. - Is there a minimum consumption required or a minimum amount to do? In this case, it is better to warn customers before they sit down. - How can you draw the conclusion that we were not going to make additional orders, that is to say ordering dishes and desserts? As they say in my country “the appetite comes with eating”. And to finish my opinion on your “restaurant”, the same day we went to Sanremo late in the afternoon. The restaurant that served us was closed and they had to reopen just for us. That's what professionals are.

18/05/2024: A real ripoff crazy prices for almost nothing a board to share with a little sausage a little cheese and ham 64 euros the "Bruschette" are pieces of bread you just have to take a trip to Italy (Border 150m away) story learn what a Bruschetta is!!!...Avoid absolutely!!!

26/05/2024: We visited during the Lemon Festival in early February and there were many tourists, but we were lucky enough to get a seat for two people without making a reservation (remember to ask at early 12:00 lunch time, otherwise it will be difficult!) The store service is friendly , the food is also delicious. We ordered the mixed seafood appetizer, which was a killer bread! For the main meal, I ordered swordfish and tomato sauce pasta. The noodles tasted great, the sauce really adhered to the noodles, and the ingredients were very solid. The tiramisu for dessert after the meal was also excellent. I was very full and satisfied. Highly recommended!

24/05/2024: We enjoyed this restaurant so much that we came here multiple times during our stay in Menton. The Gnocchi special was to die for, and the mango Tuna tartare was an excellent starter. We also got the beef and mushroom tagliatelle as well as the Italian sausage & eggplant pizza. The service was attentive, fun, and super nice. Great wine selection, and my only complaint was that we didn’t have room for dessert. We are in Menton for three more days, and we will definitely be coming back for dinner again.

10/06/2024: I recently visited Pizzeria le Vulcano in Menton, France, and loved it. The blend of Spanish, Italian and seafood dishes was delicious, particularly the paella and seafood pasta. The portion is generous. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was top-notch.

The service is unobtrusive and professional, the ambience is dignified so that you can feel completely at home and the quality of the food is excellent. Rarely have I seen such simple recipes prepared so tastefully.

24/05/2024: Very friendly service and great food. We had fish dishes and I had a spaghetti carbonara - it cost 18 euros - but it was worth the price - really good! Here too there were wine carafes - 0.5 liters for 12 euros - instead of a glass of wine (0.12 to 0.15 liters for 7 or 8 euros)!

27/04/2024: Delicious French galettes (we loved the “Sicilienne”) and sweet crêpes, the apple cider is also worth trying. Very kind staff who also speak Italian, we were lucky to enter and find a seat but it is best to book. Special and welcoming atmosphere, good prices, recommended!
