16/03/2026: I strongly advise against foreign tourists visiting this restaurant; it's a complete rip-off. I ordered oysters, and when they arrived, they looked terrible—almost all of them were shriveled and limp. Even worse, three of them were clearly spoiled and smelled awful. I immediately stopped eating, but even the small amount I'd already ingested made me feel extremely nauseous, and I felt nauseous for two whole days afterward. Furthermore, when ordering water, I clearly stated I only wanted regular water, but the waiter brought me a one-liter bottle of mineral water that was chargeable. Not only that, but they didn't open the bottle in front of me, nor did they proactively pour me water; the whole process was extremely unprofessional. This behavior makes me seriously doubt whether the water was even genuine. Overall, a terrible experience: poor food quality, terrible service, and blatant attempts to induce customers to spend more. Also, I ate several mouthfuls of sand in the clam pasta; I'm lucky I'm young, otherwise, my teeth would have been damaged. I will absolutely never come back, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

20/02/2026: We spent a few hours looking for a pizzeria in Menton, and there are many. We chose Vulcano, and we're so glad we did. We had tried their takeaway pizzas and were very happy with them. So we booked a table, and it was a wonderful experience. The pizzas are excellent, generously topped. The prices are very reasonable. The service is perfect, the waitresses are very friendly, and the dining room is very pleasant, even though it's not visible from the street. A great place that we recommend without hesitation. We regularly visit Menton, and we'll know where to go next time!

20/02/2026: Even though the restaurant doesn't look like much at first glance, it was a very pleasant surprise. The daily menu was really very good and the staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

25/02/2026: Rushed service, not a smile, nothing. The pissaladière was dripping with grease and had very little topping. €4 a slice was outrageously expensive for barely 8cm of focaccia!! Very poor value for money!

25/02/2026: We booked a table for Sunday evening during the parade at the Fête du Gourmand (Birthday Festival). The atmosphere was relaxed, and our waiter was incredibly kind and generous, taking the time to explain everything, offering us a taste of three wines, and being very friendly with the children. The food was delicious (salmon tartare, pizza, gnocchi, and dessert), and the wine was excellent, as we received great recommendations. The service was quick and efficient.

26/02/2026: I'm used to fine dining, and I must say my experience at Mirazur was very disappointing. The surprise citrus-themed meal, in my opinion, deserves only one star, and certainly no more. We benefited from a promotional rate of €350 per person, knowing that the usual price for the menu is €450. Despite this discount, the price remains far too high for the quality and experience offered. Several things particularly bothered me: The atmosphere was very noisy, which is surprising and inappropriate for an establishment of this caliber. Used glasses remained on the table throughout the meal, uncleared, and this was the case for several tables. The chairs were damaged. In fact, mine had a needle sticking out under the seat; when I pulled it out, I cut my finger. Of the seven-course menu, only three dishes were truly enjoyable. My partner, on the other hand, barely ate anything. No gesture of goodwill or special attention was offered despite our complaints. A member of staff had a hole in his trousers and was unshaven, which is surprising for an establishment of this caliber. I would nevertheless like to emphasize that the team was courteous and welcoming. However, I have rarely experienced a fine restaurant with such a discrepancy between its reputation, the number of stars, and its value for money. We came from far away, from the Grand Est region, and returned to Nice specifically to experience Mirazur in Menton. For us, this will unfortunately be the one and only time. This review remains, of course, subjective and reflects only our personal experience during this visit.

08/03/2026: A great find! This restaurant in the city center offers homemade cuisine! The welcome was friendly and the service efficient despite the rush due to the Lemon Festival. Excellent value for money in a touristy town!

12/02/2026: While passing through Menton, I wanted to eat Asian food. It was a pleasant surprise to find this gem; the restaurant isn't easy to find, you have to make a detour from Menton train station. I ordered the takeaway dish with vermicelli noodles and I was very happy with my choice. The flavor was excellent, and I even asked for extra chili. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Menton.

04/03/2026: A small restaurant with a French menu. The interior is a jumble of styles, mirrors, and chinoiserie of questionable taste. The portions are a bit small, the dishes are standard national cuisine, and the prices are in line.

04/03/2026: This is a great place to grab a hot drink away from the tourist traps on the seafront. The prices are quite reasonable, the terrace is pleasant, and the service is friendly. The chai latte I had was excellent, as was the hot white chocolate—a rather unusual drink!

03/03/2026: It was our last meal in Menton. Food was good. The service was rude. We ordered an entree to share and two mains. We did expect the entree to come first instead of everything coming together on the table.

The menu was varied, and the dishes were very well prepared with fresh ingredients (kudos to the chef for the low-sodium cuisine). The prices were very reasonable. We enjoyed lunch on the terrace with our family in the sunshine at the end of February. I highly recommend it.
