09/06/2026: We celebrated our wedding at Le Pistou and we were delighted. All our guests complimented us on our choice of venue; we received a wonderful welcome, and the food was excellent! I highly recommend Le Pistou for a fantastic time.

05/06/2026: A very nice establishment with a terrace. Impeccably clean. A super warm welcome. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Chef Yvan prepared delicious, generous dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients. It was delightful! Beautifully presented dishes. A feast for the eyes and the palate. Impeccable service. Everything was perfect! Thanks also to Romain and his partner for their kindness. Well done! We will be back and will recommend you to our friends and family.

02/08/2026: I don't like writing these kinds of reviews because I know how demanding working in the restaurant industry is, and I have the utmost respect for this profession and those who practice it – especially in France, with its wonderful and creative cuisine. That's why we were looking forward to this evening at "La Table des Baou," which enjoys a very good reputation. The meal was impeccable (not a revelation, but very well executed and delicious), but the service left much to be desired: compared to the neighboring tables, we were treated like second-class customers. When I asked to wait a moment before ordering so I could look at the extensive wine list, I was told it wasn't possible because the restaurant was too crowded. The wine wasn't at the correct temperature, and the bottle bag wasn't maintaining it either – while at neighboring tables, the bottles were served in ice buckets. When the casserole was served, the hot lid remained on the pot, and the waiter left without a word. A colleague did apologize for her colleague's carelessness, but this shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this caliber. How does this align with the standards the restaurant sets for itself? However, this reflected the overall impression: my family and I were disappointed by the lack of consideration for the customer and the effort made to ensure we had a pleasant evening. This began upon arrival and continued throughout the meal. I don't know if it was because we were easily identifiable as tourists or because we don't speak fluent French, even though we try. This is the first time, since we began regularly vacationing in France (at least once a year for over 10 years), that we have been treated like second-class customers. It's a shame this happened at "La Table des Baou." As for the atmosphere, we were seated below the terrace, in the charming little alleyway, and the food was truly excellent. For the cuisine: 5 stars, for the service: 1. Unfortunately, that only averages out to 3 stars!

31/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend it. Picturesque street, very pleasant staff, and above all, excellent food made with fresh ingredients. Go without hesitation!

25/07/2026: Unbeatable value for money and good quality. The only downside is a brunette waitress who constantly pressures customers to eat quickly. The dishes are served almost immediately after the aperitif, without giving us time to enjoy them. It's quite unpleasant.

21/07/2026: One might wonder why this place is always full, as it’s clearly not for the quality of food, nor service. But there isn’t great choice around, and it’s pleasant enough to be on the terrace with a cold beer and go with the flow, like one does. There are a few charming people working here - always on the run, and a few less so - still running. Come often enough and you get used to it, and they with you.
