23/08/2024: Petit restaurant avec une vingtaine de couverts, il faut être patient mais le résultat est exceptionnel : une composition de salade de produits frais de saison et de Provence avec un mélange de salé sucré étonnant. Bref, l’essayer c’est l’adopter et en plus vous ferez connaissance avec le propriétaire du restaurant singulier et attachant.

03/11/2024: I'm giving 1 star because we can't give less. Very poorly received, we wanted to have a drink with my family who come from far away, I recently gave birth to 2 children under 2 years old so 2 strollers, my mother-in-law goes on the terrace and sees if there is enough space for us then asks a waitress if it's possible, she says yes, so she moves her chairs but not the tables. Outside it's a small space and if I place a stroller on the row she no longer has access to other tables behind. My father kindly moved a table for him which he placed as close as possible to us and which therefore does not disturb anyone or endanger anyone. The manager comes with a determined step and tells us that it's not possible, that it's not happening, that they moved everything to us and that what's more, we do as we want, that "in any case you don't care. “fuck it since you’re just coming on vacation” when we don’t know each other and we didn’t mention “fuck it”. Anyway, we left because even the waitress was unfriendly. If you want to be well served, go next door, they offered us several solutions and are very friendly.

21/09/2024: This is a lovely little shop. It is small and has authentic. The owner saw me peeking in from outside and invited me in. You can choose from the items in the case like lasagne and pissaladière, and they will serve it to you outside at the table, or you can take it to go. I saw a gorgeous apple tart, and ordered a piece for my breakfast, which is a very un-French thing to do, I know, but whatever. It was delicious. The next day we went there and got the most amazing sandwiches on fresh baguette with our choice of cheese and meat with fresh heirloom tomatoes and homemade pesto. The sandwiches are very generously sized and just 10 euros. I could only eat half. This is a beautiful place to have lunch or put together a perfect picnic. You can also sit at a table in the sweet outdoor seating area and order from the menu. As I said, this place is authentic, unlike so many other places in very touristy areas. I believe she caters to those who really want to enjoy fresh and beautiful food from the south of France. As a side note, there was a crate of fresh chanterelles inside, which looked so amazing. When I commented on them, the owner said in the restaurant she would make me an omelette with them, which I don’t think is even on the menu. Please do not overlook this charming business while you are in Saint-Paul-de-Vence

22/09/2024: Aberrant ! Minimum 7€ pour avoir de la garniture avec votre plat, même si c'est St Paul c'est un attrape couillon, si vous ne prenez pas de garniture, votre plat à environ 25€, arrive seul dans une pauvre assiette Avec ce prix là vous mangez un plat et sa garniture avec vue mer, car ici sauf si vous mangez debout, la vue est cachée par les arbres... Bref, pour les locaux passez votre chemin et laissez les touristes se faire arnaquer

19/09/2024: My friend and I had dinner at Les Remparts this evening. Lovely atmosphere. Dreadful server. The food was excellent. Dreadful server. His attitude towards us was sit them down and then ignore them. We’ve travelled from Paris to Avignon, Cassis, Nice and St Paul De Vence with excellent service and food. Always a smile and a welcome, but not here. We were ignored by our server after requesting a sit down table instead of a bar stool and it went down hill from there. He argued with us, called us racist and said it was his first night on the job. We’d suggest the proprietor look for better representation of their establishment. Two dissatisfied Canadians.

13/09/2024: Very pleasant restaurant. Beautiful view. Mediterranean cuisine. Pleasant waitress. Who offered us a little digestive and put 1 candle for my friend's birthday.
