A very special place to enjoy the harmonious combination of nature, art and architecture. I will definitely come back.

Disappointed because the place is superb, but far too many people are allowed in, making it very difficult to move around. Furthermore, while the staff are very friendly, there are clearly not enough of them, so after the visit the restaurant is inaccessible.

The Fondation Maeght is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and unique art spaces we've visited on the French Riviera. 🎨🌿 The architecture itself and the way the museum is integrated into the surrounding nature are truly impressive. Here, art isn't just displayed on the walls—you move between it, the garden, the light, and the landscape. The collection is excellent: Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Alexander Calder, Ellsworth Kelly, and many other 20th-century artists. We particularly enjoyed the juxtaposition of monumental works with very sparse, almost minimalistic designs. The stained glass windows, the garden sculptures, the large-scale paintings, and Calder's mobiles create a space where each room has a completely different character. The sculpture garden is absolutely unique—the works stand among pine trees and Mediterranean greenery, virtually eliminating the line between the museum and nature. This place is peaceful and allows you to truly immerse yourself in the art, rather than simply wandering from exhibit to exhibit. It's worth setting aside extra time for your visit and taking your time. Fondation Maeght isn't just a museum—it's a complete experience of art, architecture, and landscape. One of those places that lingers in your memory long after you leave. It's definitely worth coming to Saint-Paul-de-Vence specifically. ❤️🎨🌿

This is a fantastic reasonably sized museum that wasn't overly crowded when we were there. There are some fantastic art works there, including a lot of sculptures. They had a music night on that we attended. It was a fantastic venue for some excellent music. There is an onsite cafe, but no nearby restaurants, so keep that in mind when visiting. Great views of the nearby area as well.

A beautiful and relaxing museum with great artwork. We also had a very nice lunch as the restaurant. Even though we came on 26 August it was not crowded and the staff was friendly and good at their job. Highly recommend.

The rotating exhibition is certainly worth a visit, depending on your taste. That's a matter of opinion. What's undeniable, however, is that the entire estate is enchanting and exudes an uncanny sense of peace. Perhaps choose a day when it's not completely overrun with tourists. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and they also serve a good (though not exactly cheap) espresso. Paul-de-Vence is within easy walking distance, and you can then also visit the charming old town with its countless art shops. The two together make for a wonderful day trip.

A magnificent place that's an absolute must-see. The founders must be turning in their graves seeing the reception at the shop and bar. The saleswoman was appalling, and the staff were having personal conversations while customers waited. It's a far cry from the perfectionism of the people who contributed to the creation of this incredible place. It's a shame; it somewhat spoils the experience.
