05/07/2025: Six of us had dinner at this restaurant as a family. The setting is magnificent, with a beautiful garden and lovely outdoor lighting.
However, we were disappointed by the food. The starters were fresh and delicious, but no issues.
When it came to the main course, my husband and father had the rib-eye steak. Unfortunately, my father's had a different taste, with a cheesy aftertaste and a slight bitterness; the meat was clearly lacking in freshness. My husband's was bland.
A shame for two meat lovers who come to a master restaurateur restaurant...
We mentioned this to the server, who told us he would look into it.
No one got back to us...
We weren't impressed by the desserts.
We won't be back.
05/07/2025: Always a very good address, a sure bet with quality homemade cuisine, a very pleasant setting and reasonable prices, which is why we want to come back.

08/07/2025: Glass spilled on two people at our table, but no businesslike gesture regarding the drinks of those concerned. Extremely unpleasant waiter: a person who had just arrived hadn't yet decided, he left without saying anything, taking all the orders from the other tables and making us wait half an hour. He responds aggressively by raising his voice loudly if someone hasn't heard and speaks sharply every other time. Unreasonably long service, waiter who goes around in circles and does nothing even though we finished our main course 45 minutes ago and are waiting for dessert, comes to serve the next table and leaves empty-handed still without clearing our dishes. This same table had complained because they had been waiting for their main course for an hour. I ended up getting up and bringing my plate back myself, the waiter in question became aggressive and threatening when I complained, even though I simply told them the truth. But you understand "he was stressed by the customers". Honestly, it's disgusting, you only survive because you're the restaurant at the ibis hotel, people would have stopped coming a long time ago.

10/12/2025: As the bistro was booked for a private corporate event, we had the privilege of enjoying the bistro menu, but in the fine dining restaurant setting. The ambiance and warm welcome were impeccable, the starters, main courses, and desserts were superb, the organic wine from the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll be back as soon as possible. Highly recommended!

04/11/2025: The food was awful, it really didn't make you want to eat the Americano. You practically need a jackhammer to get it there. The fries taste like they've been left in the pan for ages, completely inedible. I asked twice for mayonnaise; apparently, they must pay a fortune for it because there was no mayonnaise. Too expensive to get sick or lose a tooth!
14/10/2025: The slogan "the team has changed," but so has the quality.
Pizza is not of high quality, neither in terms of the dough nor the ingredients.
I do not recommend it.

25/08/2024: We have been living in Valbonne 5 years. Have been avoiding this restaurant for the last 4 years. Today kids wanted to try it again. One ordered stake hache and another cheeseburger. Both had a very unpleasant experience with their meat. Both stakes were very chewy even though medium done (full of white bits that got stuck in their teeth). As a result we left both dishes untouched (apart from French fries). When we told the waiter the steaks are impossible to eat and his answer was that we don’t understand the meat and that everyone eats their steaks and then brushed off everything else we had to say. I asked his name. His answer was James Bond. So based on that alone we were not the only ones complaining to them about quality of the food they serve. So we went to the manager who said our steaks are very good and have a good day. All in was a terrible experience , hope we will remember this one in 4 years time and never go back there. You are better off grabbing a pizza across the square or exploring small Italian restaurants off the square. I hope my review helps you to avoid having a disastrous experience we just had.
