05/09/2026: ⭐ 1/5 — A true lesson in disorganization and customer disregard A simply outrageous experience from beginning to end. I arrived at the drive-thru yesterday around 7:30 pm with my two children. I was finally served around 8:33 pm, meaning I waited over an hour for a simple order. During this interminable wait, at least six cars arrived after me and left the drive-thru before me. My two children were in the car and, naturally, after waiting for over an hour, they were exhausted and screaming. At no point did I feel that the situation was being taken seriously. When I finally reached the pickup point, my order still wasn't ready. So I had to firmly ask the manager to finally take care of it. And then, another surprise: an incredible number of items were missing. No more iced tea, no more fries, no more ice cream. Some items had already been ordered and paid for. Regarding the ice cream, I was told the machine was broken. Breakdowns happen. What's much harder to understand is being able to order and pay for a product that's ultimately unavailable. So I asked for a refund for the ice cream. Even that wasn't processed immediately. I had to wait another ten minutes before getting my refund. And as if that extra wait wasn't enough, my refund was given to me only in small change, practically scrap metal, instead of simply returning the full amount. After waiting over an hour for my order, having to wait even longer for a refund and leaving with only small change was frankly the icing on the cake. I then asked, quite legitimately, if it was possible to get some kind of compensation after waiting over an hour, receiving an incomplete order, and having two children who had spent all that time in the car. The manager's response particularly struck me. I clearly heard: "Don't make any move on him." A way of speaking to the customer that unfortunately says a lot about the welcome I received that evening. At one point, completely confused about what was happening, I even got out of my car with my children to try and get some answers. An employee then told me that they couldn't properly take orders at the drive-thru because there were too many orders ahead. Yet, there were only about ten cars. If the restaurant can't manage the flow of orders, perhaps they should start by properly organizing the service instead of leaving customers waiting without explanation. What's most surprising is that several people at the drive-thru seemed to be experiencing the exact same problems. So it clearly wasn't just "bad luck" with my order: the problem seems much deeper, at the organizational level. I can perfectly understand a rush, a machine breakdown, or a product being temporarily unavailable. What I don't understand is the hour-long wait, the missing items, the delayed refund, the refund given only in small change, the lack of any offer of compensation, and finally, the manager's condescending attitude. A restaurant can experience difficulties. Respect for the customer, however, should never be lacking. After this experience, one thing is certain: I will never set foot in this McDonald's again. I simply hope that management will take the time to read this review and, above all, to consider how such a situation can be considered normal service.

14/08/2026: I'm extremely disappointed with my takeout order. The advertised wait time was 20 minutes, but I ended up waiting twice as long, 40 minutes (well, these things happen), and in the end, I received two dry sandwiches with a meager condiment: two sliced ​​onions barely visible and a tiny piece of bell pepper. The bread was overcooked, hard, and dry, with no sauce even spread properly. The pizza was very flat and tasteless; it was more like a pancake than a pizza. Honestly, I don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant. I'm very disappointed and won't be returning.

23/08/2026: ABSOLUTELY NO RESPECT!!!! 10 PM My wife and I just came for a drink... the bouncer told us we could sit down, and as we were choosing a table, some jerk—to put it politely—came up and spoke to us in English, as if we were nothing, demanding to know "who gave us permission to sit down and that we were wandering around without authorization." The bouncer told him it was him and the Black waiter or manager in the red T-shirt (he'll know who he is)—if you can even call him a manager—and left without apologizing. Even if we were tourists, we wouldn't speak like that, but on top of that, we're from Nice, and it's clear we won't be back. There are plenty of bars that know how to treat customers and what business is all about... and I'm being polite. He should find another line of work.

29/06/2026: I got the lemon cheesecake donut and the vanilla iced coffee, but unfortunately neither were good! This location has a lot of light and it’s very spacious. But There was only one worker making coffee and serving donuts, since it’s a bigger location it’s probably stressful for the workers to have to do all that, alone. I don’t know that I would go back.

30/08/2026: A bit of a disappointment from yesterday's visit. The toilets were dirty and unkempt. The restaurant was unbearably hot. The staff was nice. In the 21st century, I expect a much higher standard from McDonald's than I am used to from other countries.

29/08/2026: The fries are awful, raw, no straw for the Coke, no napkin. As for the lack of smiles, they're all miserable. Instead of being happy to have a job, they're all grumpy. I'm never going back there. Mr. Mayor of Nice Cioti, I hope you will close this McDonald's which is giving us a really bad reputation, a real disgrace to the Promenade des Anglais, a disgrace.

20/07/2026: In the Cap3000 shopping center complex, outside overlooking the beach, we stumbled upon this place, which I highly recommend. Dishes are made with high-quality ingredients and are plentiful. For Italians accustomed to eating pasta, I recommend it, even though in France they don't salt the pasta water: you'll find it tasteless everywhere. The waitresses who served us were very kind. I highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: The welcome was very warm, the young manager in the dining room kept a watchful eye on everything. However, the ribeye steak was tough, sinewy, and not fatty at all. For Simmental beef at €38, that's a real shame. It wasn't seared enough and was overcooked; we ordered it rare, but it came out medium-rare. The new potatoes were very good. I'll still go back to try other things; the place is nice.

16/02/2026: The bread and pastries are absolutely delicious. The bakery also offers magnificent trompe-l'œil creations, as surprising as they are tempting. The welcome is warm. I highly recommend this place: it's definitely worth a visit.
