I went to check out Papy Joe and honestly, I loved the experience! It has everything you love about a good American diner: delicious smash burgers, hot dogs, homemade tenders… with quality ingredients and, above all, a really welcoming team.
The concept is really cool, with a 90s vibe, arcade games, foosball, darts… and the best part: everything is free to play! 🎮🎯
There are also screens to watch sporting events and a happy hour. In short, you don't just come to eat, you come to have a good time.
I tried the Bacon Beast Master, the Avocado Hot Dog, and the Caesar Salad. Everything was delicious, with a special mention for the burger: the three smash patties with cheddar and bacon are seriously good! 😂🔥
A place I highly recommend if you're ever in Lorient. A great find and definitely a place I'll gladly return to!

05/08/2026: We wanted to have dinner to try it out because the place looks nice. We started by ordering a drink. When we asked for a cocktail, the owner made fun of us. He had absolutely no tact and made very unpleasant remarks. We ended up having a quick drink and then went to eat elsewhere where we received a very warm welcome. That said, the staff are lovely; it's the owner who's the problem. Avoid this place; there are plenty of other options in the area.

Incompetent manager, incapable of solving a problem... I can't wait for Burger King to open in Baud.
2019 message: This is the perfect place for a terrible family meal.
There's always something missing from your order, whether you're at the drive-thru or inside. A 45-minute wait at the drive-thru. I recommend going to the McDonald's in Vannes; you'll be faster, and your food will still be hot.
And the Very Parfait!!! Let's not even talk about it. I've attached a picture of my freshly made ice cream... doesn't it look amazing??? Where's the whipped cream?
In short, this McDonald's only survives because it's the only one in the area. If you can, run away!
No improvement since it opened. The shame of McDonald's in France.
12/09/2026: Waited 40 minutes for an order, even though there were very few customers, to get a burger with bacon, but it was bacon-free and we don't eat pork. A sundae with hair on it. The staff weren't very friendly.

10/08/2026: We stopped by in the late afternoon for lunch (5:30 pm). The service was very slow; they brought us drinks and ice cream from the children's menu almost immediately (we asked for ice cream and had to pick it up later), and then we waited 30 minutes for our meals.
09/08/2026: I was able to recharge my car there 😉 The sandwich was almost warm, but not scalding hot...
