25/08/2026: We had dinner at Lakota restaurant on a Saturday evening in August. The welcome was perfect, the service excellent, the food pleasant, and the presentation of the dishes was superb despite a limited menu. My only complaint is that I ordered a Perrier with mint, and the small amount of syrup was charged at €1.00. Okay, I'm not one to quibble over a euro, but I have to admit that's excessive.
16/08/2026: Well worth the stop on our return to the UK from Croatia. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend.

27/09/2026: I've eaten there several times. The food is actually quite good, it's true. However, the service is catastrophic. You need to have plenty of time when you go. And it's been like that every time I've been. Today, it took 45 minutes between our starter and the drinks being served and our food order being taken. My partner had steak tartare and wanted bread. There was some bread left over from the salad, so she refused to bring any more. He asked for more once he'd finished that piece, and then she was supposed to bring more, but in the end, we never got any. The tartare was finished... without bread.

02/10/2026: Excellent experience as usual. A charcuterie board for my husband, beef tartare for me. And let's not forget the lovely Pinot Gris we both enjoyed.
We were treated to a complimentary aperitif and a slice of cake for our birthdays (September 26th and October 1st), accompanied by a hilarious chorus from the waiters 🤩

05/09/2026: A lovely break in the heart of Metz! Great atmosphere, fantastic decor, delicious food, and the cherry on top: a little surprise on the bill for both adults and children! 🤣🤣🤣 A kind word and a smile from the owner just make us want to come back! 💕💕💕
28/08/2026: We discovered this place by chance during our trip to Metz. All the dishes were delicious, especially the pasta with sauce and the lasagna. The prices were very reasonable considering the country and location. We especially thank Ms. Aylin for taking care of us. We definitely recommend it.

18/08/2026: We couldn't come last year because it was fully booked, and we were so happy to finally eat there this year. What a disappointment! The wait was incredibly long with a child... two hours for a meal with no starter or dessert except for the children's menu... And speaking of the children's menu... three tiny, dry nuggets.
We waited 45 minutes for a carafe of water, which we finally received before leaving.
Expensive for what it was.
And when you ask the waitress for something, she looks at you as if you're clearly bothering her.
It's such a shame. The place itself is so lovely.
17/08/2026: We've been eating at La Cabane de Marie regularly for several years now and we're always very satisfied, both with the service and the quality of the food!
The staff are exceptionally kind, the place is welcoming… So, without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! 🤩🇨🇦🍁

03/08/2026: A nice place to grab a bagel or a small sweet treat. Plenty of seating on the terrace, but the interior is very small and the ordering tables are too close to the door, not practical at all.
26/07/2026: Great experience thanks to Ali who gave us a super warm welcome and great advice. The fries were excellent: fresh and perfectly crispy. The atmosphere and decor were really nice. We'll be back!

22/09/2026: I'd been hearing about the Arizona Diner for ages… I finally went… and I wasn't disappointed at all! Let's start with this sublime burger (I went for the Detroit burger). A perfect, soft brioche bun. The meat was high-quality and cooked just right… and that bacon sauce was the icing on the cake! Plus, a very pleasant chat with the owner about classic cars. And the decor is worth it; you really feel like you're in a true Americana. A real jukebox with a map above it of all the trips the owner has taken in the US over the last 10 years… (why did he miss Kansas? LOL). Kudos for these delicious, generous burgers, these drinks that you won't find anywhere else, and the warm welcome. See you soon!

I went through the checkout with a truly lovely cashier who had a slightly darker complexion. She was cheerful, smiling, and very pleasant, with excellent customer service skills. Her smile and her little smiley face piercing added to her charm, and it was really nice to be able to chat with her easily.
I also noticed that the team seemed truly amazing: they get along very well, there's a great atmosphere and real team spirit, from what I could see.
A truly enjoyable experience! I highly recommend going there. 😊
