30/08/2026: I returned to this restaurant a few years after my first visit and was surprisingly disappointed. We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. It felt like the staff was overwhelmed. As for the food, I felt the quality had declined significantly. A meal costing almost €30 for two dry steaks, a handful of fries, a small sauce, and an onion ring appetizer that was watery at €8 seems excessive given the poor quality of the ingredients.

30/08/2026: The food and service were fine, no complaints, however, it was a bit noisy for our liking.

09/09/2026: The wait is unbearable, all the customers there are complaining, it feels like being at the doctor's office

06/09/2026: Do not order from Uber Eats or for delivery under any circumstances (AVOID AT ALL COSTS)

16/10/2026: Shameful, unpleasant, haughty staff (the brunette with glasses). I don't think there were more than 10 fries, so I asked this woman if that was all she had. She looked down her nose at me and said yes. The bucket of tenders got smaller and smaller, and they didn't even offer a free sauce. Avoid this place.

13/10/2026: About one in five times, something is missing... again tonight, my son's ice cream is missing from his children's menu...

17/10/2026: It's Saturday, October 17, 2026, 11 PM, and I've been waiting over 30 minutes at the drive-thru, stuck between several other vehicles trying to order. I've called five times with no answer, and then discovered the restaurant is closed. There's no sign on either of the kiosks, nor on Google, to warn anyone that it's closed! Thanks for the wait and the wasted fuel!

16/10/2026: I'm changing my review, which is 3 years old. The restaurant was dirty when we arrived (around 3:00 PM), the staff gave us a dirty look, and we were served as if we were bothering them. Previous review: 5/5. Much better service than in Somain. I love that they don't forget the extra chocolate in my ice cream, but Somain seems to be increasingly neglecting its customers. The only difference is that in Somain, we're welcomed a little better, but I'd rather drive 5 minutes longer to Denain. Thank you for your work!

04/10/2026: A really nice and relaxing place, with sofas and a back terrace, perfect for enjoying a quiet moment away from the street noise. I had a bagel, a coffee, and a cookie. It's a shame, though, that they didn't offer me the set menu, which meant I had to pay full price for each item. Aside from that, the coffee is very good, the cookies are nice, and the bagels are too. I did find the bagel a bit small for €6, especially the pastrami one: just one thin slice, a few pickles, and mostly just a lot of bread. I understand they need to be profitable, but in this case, the quantity/price ratio seemed a bit low. The atmosphere is really pleasant, and the service is efficient. There were two waitresses, which meant I was served quickly, even during lunchtime. Overall, a nice place, with a few minor improvements possible regarding the portion sizes and information about the set menus. 😊
