25/07/2026: It's become a complete mess... the location is good, the drinks are like other Ninkasi locations... but it was such a chaotic mess (even though it wasn't very crowded) that we got back in the car and went to the one at Part-Dieu where everything went smoothly. No more service on the terrace... they told us to get lost, saying we had to order at the bar... then wait, etc. Was I supposed to bring my own burger ingredients too?
I like Ninkasi, but I won't be setting foot in the Guillotière one again... or maybe the managers were on vacation and the servers didn't feel like working?
Two customers lost...
21/07/2026: The terrace was packed. We were seated outside without any problem. Our order was taken a little slowly, but the waitress was very pleasant and smiling. It was a busy time for all the servers because of the crowd, but they remained very friendly. I can't comment on the restaurant itself, but for a drink, don't hesitate to go; the welcome is warm.

16/07/2026: Small, overpriced, and not good. I ordered the cheesesteak and it really wasn't worth it. Plus, there's a wait after ordering takeout.
13/05/2026: I am from Philadelphia, and I believe my life has been significantly shortened by my love of steak sandwiches in my youth, so I know of what I speak. I am of two minds on this restaurant: This was not a Philly cheesesteak - it resembled one, mostly - the ingredients at the most abstract form are the same. However, it is not the same. But, dear reader, do not take this as a negative - I am going to say something that will have me banished from Pudge's, Pat's, and Geno's: this is better. To someone who has never eaten a cheesesteak before, this will surpass what is served in Philadelphia if the two sandwiches are put on a table side by side and one has no other reference or history, and it will be obvious that the ingredients (meat, cheese, bread - a simple trio) are notably better in the sandwich from Philly Soul. To someone who grew up on these sandwiches, I would probably still gravitate towards the Amoroso roll and possibly even the highly controversial "cheese steak hoagie" that I can get from Pudge's, even with the better quality and taste of the sandwich in Lyon. They are not the same sandwich, but if you're looking for a great, fast, somewhat unhealthy lunch in Lyon this would be a top choice.

15/07/2026: Delivery order. I was really disappointed with the products I received. The bread had an unpleasant, dense texture. The bagel arrived dry and hard...
The fillings were mediocre; I didn't like the combinations.
I won't be ordering again.
02/07/2026: I would never go back there again. I recommend you avoid it and go to YAAFA, which isn't far away and where the staff are very welcoming.
