29/07/2026: A great place to eat in Carignan. There are five restaurants in Carignan, we tried four, and we were lucky because only one of them was disappointing and underpriced.
But that's absolutely not the case with La Galéjade. I've tried their pizzas several times, and my partner has tried their rib-eye steaks. They were perfect.
I highly recommend it.

18/08/2026: I ordered spaghetti with pesto sauce and minced meat, but I received a dish without pesto, just a basic cream sauce, whereas it should have had basil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese as advertised on the menu. I noticed a small frozen herb ball on the pasta, tasted it, and to my surprise, it was parsley. I pointed this out to the waitress, who insisted it was pesto sauce.
I was just passing through Carignan, and being from Provence, I make my own pesto sauce, so I know what I'm talking about. In short, I didn't appreciate the waitress treating me like I was completely clueless.
