The Chinese food was bad, the dumplings were fried, the spring rolls were thick with very little filling, the beef satay was nothing special, the beef and vegetables were tasteless with a burnt aftertaste, and the Cantonese rice was also tasteless. I'm a fan of Asian cuisine, but I don't recommend this place.

22/09/2026: Undoubtedly one of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in Marseille. Here, you won't find standardized dishes prepared in advance and reheated assembly-line style. The cuisine is truly crafted to order, with ingredients and preparations that deserve a little time. So yes, you have to be patient… but you won't regret it. Reservations are highly recommended, as the restaurant is very often full. Some reviews criticize the wait time, but you also have to understand that there's only one chef, and above all, a chef who truly cooks, with exacting standards and expertise. Quality and authenticity come at a price: patience. Waiting to enjoy dishes prepared to order, with real flavors and a genuine culinary identity, seems much more pleasant to me than being served standardized dishes in ten minutes. Surprisingly, no one seems to complain about the wait times at gourmet or Michelin-starred restaurants, even though they are sometimes much longer. Here, the decor is admittedly simple and the prices remain very affordable, but the approach is more akin to a fine Chinese restaurant than a typical Asian eatery where dishes are quickly served. Everyone is free to choose what they're looking for in a restaurant. For my part, I unhesitatingly choose quality, authenticity, and the pleasure of taking the time to enjoy a good meal. And here, patience is richly rewarded.

22/09/2026: Objectively speaking, the food is actually quite decent for international students, but the service is really hard to describe in a positive way — I would even say it is terrible. The younger female waitress, or perhaps the owner, had an acceptable attitude, but the older female waitress was extremely rude and impatient. When my boyfriend and I entered the restaurant, she very forcefully tried to seat us at a table in the corner next to the toilet. At that time, there was only one other table of customers in the entire restaurant, while all the other tables were completely empty. We compromised and chose a very small table instead. While we were ordering, this older female waitress completely pushed my frustration over the edge. I asked her whether the douzhi could be served at room temperature, or at least not cold. She told me she did not know, and her attitude at the time was extremely impatient. I then patiently explained to her again and asked whether, IF it turned out they did not have it at room temperature, I could change it to another drink instead. However, this older waitress simply changed my drink to something else immediately. I noticed that your Chinese is actually quite good, so I assume you should understand what the word “if” means, right? Secondly, this is your own restaurant. You do not even know what drinks your own restaurant has? Then what exactly are you running a restaurant for? You might as well close it down. We ordered three dishes at the time. I asked her whether all three dishes would fit on such a small table, and she told me yes. Well, technically, they did fit — but it was ridiculously cramped. If you knew what was going on, you would think I came here to eat. If you did not, you would probably think I came here to survive. My boyfriend and I have been studying in the UK for nearly three years. We have traveled to many countries across Europe, both big and small, and have eaten at Chinese restaurants in almost every city we have visited. Never have we encountered an older waitress with such an impatient attitude. I genuinely regret being so tolerant of her at the beginning, because it only encouraged her to push things further and take advantage of my Patience. When we paid the bill, the owner apologized and waived the cost of one drink. However, that still didn't make up for how angry this experience made me. I noticed your Chinese is quite good; I think you should understand what "if" means, right? Secondly, it's your own store; don't you know what drinks you don't have? Then why did you open the store? I might as well close down. We ordered three dishes, and I asked if the small table could fit, and she said yes. It really could fit, but it was incredibly cramped. Anyone who didn't know better would think I was there to survive. My boyfriend and I have been studying in the UK for almost three years, and we've been to almost every country in Europe, big and small, and tried almost every Chinese restaurant in every city. I've never encountered such an impatient elderly waitress! I regret my initial tolerance; she took advantage of my attitude. When we paid the bill, the owner apologized and waived the cost of one drink, but it still wasn't enough to make up for my anger. I hope your restaurant can properly train its staff.

29/07/2026: Hello, I've been coming here once a week since 2022, and I've also been with several new people. And this is the first time I've been disappointed. The waitress was unpleasant and kept making snide remarks. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back to this restaurant, despite the two lovely cooks. She also made the same remarks to other customers. In short, disappointed.

21/05/2026: I don't often get the chance to eat sushi, but I can definitely tell when it's good or bad. These are simply DELICIOUS. A wide selection of original "dragons," and while I usually go for the classics for fear of making a mistake, here you have to take risks and even trust the chef's improvisation!
