10/03/2026: We had a meal there for Valentine's Day. There was a set menu for the occasion, but we did have two choices for each starter, main course, and dessert. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, the food was excellent, the presentation lovely, the decor pleasant, the atmosphere cozy, and they even offered us a complimentary digestif. We had a wonderful time, as always... excellent value for money, the prices are very reasonable. A little tip: book in advance, it's always full.

21/03/2026: Don't hesitate, it's the best around and even of all the caramel pork dishes, everything is good with a controlled and traditional taste and seasoning, top-notch service and very beautiful, unique dining room!

04/01/2026: As usual, very good. Perhaps the impression was that the Peking duck was very different from other times, as it had pineapple, whereas there wasn't any before. A shame, because I don't like it hot. The sauce and presentation were different, but it was very good nonetheless!
Tony was as lovely as ever, as was the young waiter. However, I felt very uncomfortable with the waitress. She had cold, hard, even mean looks towards me, and hardly ever smiled. I felt uneasy and uncomfortable. 🫤

13/02/2026: What a super little restaurant just at the edge of the historic center of Pau. We have previously sampled their delicious food at Les Halles in Pau. But I am so glad we went to this cozy restaurant. The shrimp and coconut milk soup was fabulous, as were the nems. And the vegetarian noodles were filling and perfectly seasoned. Reasonable prices, lovely atmosphère; definitely a winner.

31/03/2026: At Kim's, everything is excellent, fresh, and cooked to order. It has a family atmosphere with many regulars whom Mathieu calls by their first names. It's a must-try for Vietnamese cuisine, an institution :-), the dining room is small so reservations are essential. As soon as I'm back in Pau, I'll try to eat there. Don't change a thing! Elizabeth (and Nicole).
22/03/2026: Takeout. The person at the counter was very friendly.
The food was a mixed bag. The spring rolls were fresh but had too much salad. The duck with pineapple was mealy.

17/01/2026: Passing through Biarritz, we went to eat there because we were craving good Thai food... Total disappointment! The quality of the ingredients (not homemade at all) was poor, with a very industrial taste. For the price, I found it expensive. The service was incredibly slow... (although the welcome was pleasant).
The floor and tables were sticky. A shame. We won't be going back. As a fan of Thai restaurants, this one didn't live up to my expectations.

24/03/2026: Very disappointed. We booked in advance for a Sunday, but the table wasn't set when we arrived. The food was empty, there were no refills, and it was cold. At 12:45, the drinks and aperitifs took a very, very long time to be served. Very disappointed.

04/03/2026: We got a takeaway meal that was really not great. The spring rolls were cold and hard even after being reheated in the air fryer, and the dish wasn't tasty, although the service was pleasant.
21/12/2025: The welcome was very pleasant.
But the most important thing is the food.
Everything we tasted was good, very good.
The ingredients are of very high quality.
The price is more than reasonable.
It's decided, I'm going back this week.

16/09/2025: Visited this Tuesday, September 16th, around 1 p.m. by chance between two appointments.
I'd already walked past it several times.
Very pleasantly surprised.
Very warm welcome. I ordered a lunch menu served in typical dishes that reminded me of my childhood, and were also very tasty and delicious.
In addition to the tears of joy brought by these images of yesteryear, the bill was more than reasonable for starters/main courses/desserts.
In short, thank you, I'll be back.

24/10/2025: Well, clearly, you shouldn't go there for the atmosphere or the food. But, there's plenty, it's not bad, and it's cheap. The welcome is rather cold, the advantage is that you'll be out sooner!
