27/07/2026: We chose the "plat du jour" menu... €17 p.p. (3 courses)! We were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent and charming, as it was provided by the lady of the house herself. It is a place run by an enthusiastic, slightly older couple with a passion for their work. Highly recommended!

21/07/2026: A very warm welcome. Fresh and tasty dishes, perfect for a hot summer evening. A reasonable bill. It truly is la dolce vita!

10/07/2026: We chose the 3 courses option and each chose something different. Each meal was exquisite - beautifully presented and high quality. We chose local house wines which were perfect to accompany the food. Reasonable for what you get. Unfortunately photos were blurred.

10/07/2026: What a superb discovery this restaurant was! The cuisine was refined, and the owner was incredibly kind; for a minor service error, he offered us a second bottle of wine – truly classy. Definitely a remarkable place that we will return to in the future. Michel.

22/10/2025: Such an amazing experience. Liz and Joe were the most gracious hosts and treated my partner and I exceptionally. With an incredibly informative tour, exceptional food and world class wine. Anything written in this review doesn't do the evening we spent with them enough credit to an unforgettable night and lovley people. If we ever have the opportunity of being in the region again, we will be returning.

24/09/2025: Winery visit: it is impossible to overstate the warmth of hospitality of Joe and Liz! We arrived as strangers, and left feeling like family. The winery tour was everything we could have hoped for: starting with a chilled glass of white on the terrace overlooking the hills, tasting grapes on the vine about to be harvested, a tour of the equipment, pouring wines straight from the tank and dipping a cask, with Joe telling anecdotes about the history as well as explaining how it’s done. Finally Liz’s amazing and generous cooking in their beautiful dining room, including her home-cured salmon. She even tweaked the menu to ensure that our young Asian friends got a home-cooked rice dish. Convivial doesn’t begin to describe it. Thankfully, Liz also arranged with our taxi driver to come back rather later than originally planned 😂. Practical note: it’s about 20 minutes drive from Carcassonne and they can recommend taxi drivers.

22/07/2026: We had a delicious meal! A’Kotee is quietly situated in the center of the village. The restaurant is run by a very friendly couple. The Advocaat sundae for dessert is highly recommended :)

25/03/2026: Very nice little place in a very nice little town. The food is amazing, and so are the hosts. There is a homey atmosphere of long-lost local inns, definitely recommended and a place i will definitely go back to!!

29/06/2026: I ordered delivery. In the photo they show the burger as two-tiered, but when you receive it 😂 there's just a tiny slice of chicken on one tier, obviously, and you have to search for it. Please post the correct photo because this is a scam.

12/06/2026: Very good, very fast, and lots of choices; the pasta is made right in front of you... I recommend it.

28/06/2026: I'm sad because it's usually a nice place, one of the few real bars in downtown Carcassonne, and a true community hub for people of all ages and nationalities. The atmosphere is cool, the beer is very good, and it's generally lively, even on Sundays, weekdays, and in winter. I've been there several times since I've lived in Carcassonne and I've always enjoyed it. However, today I almost didn't recognize the place: the staff were incredibly unpleasant, bordering on insulting. We really felt unwelcome (even though we were in a group and the bar was half empty). I don't understand it, but this is the kind of experience that permanently damages a place for you, and I won't be going back, nor will the people I brought... It's a shame, because this is also how the city center slowly dies or becomes a purely touristy place 😕 I hope they just had an off day; for me, it's, unfortunately, quite enough

The pizzas are excellent and very generous, the service is incredible, exceptionally kind, and they took great care of our daughter so she could also have a wonderful time. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back! Thank you
