18/11/2024: On the advice of Antoine who was our guide at the Venise Verte Évasion, we went to recharge our batteries at the Plat Pays, impeccable service, warm welcome and Mitraillette like in the country. We had a great time with the family for the meal, we recommend this establishment or we will return next summer.

01/09/2024: Simple and friendly atmosphere, in a more than pleasant environment. The Pizzas & Galettes delighted young and old alike. Very good choice regarding the supplier for ice cream 😋.
It was a first and probably not the last, we had a pleasant time.

We arrived around 8 p.m. and there were 8 of us. Overall, the meal and dessert were very good. Thank you for the welcome, the service and for accepting our requests for additional chorizo for the mountaineer and for the Nutella/salted butter caramel waffle

30/12/2024: An exceptional place located a stone's throw from the Donjon de Niort and the Marais Poitevin.
The night was very pleasant in this
quiet and perfectly decorated place. Wake up gently thanks to the scent of meat slowly cooked by Maitre Kemal, the owner of the place, who already cooked under Valéry Giscard d'Estaing. Fortunately the meat is no longer the same as it was at that time.
In short, the €9 menu including a night in the Kemal hotel is a must have when visiting Niort.

20/07/2024: Découvert dans un article de presse, nous avons opté pour ce pub, qui était sur notre chemin.
Bonne pioche!
Accueil très souriant, plats simples mais très bons et prix raisonnables... les tables dans le jardin sont siper agreables... et cette petite touche britannique (que j'adore) en plus!
Faire un break à Pause! s'impose si vous êtes dans ce coin !
03/07/2024: We visited our friends Sue and Steve and they said let’s go for breakfast, what a little Gem of a Cafe, Bar Restaurant in a beautiful village in a lovely area of France , we had a lovely welcome from Claire - English lady living in France, Claire has a lovely place and great food, all made fresh and the breakfast was 100% perfect. She does regular music nights , fish and chips and curry nights - well worth a visit if you near Labsie, thanks Claire , your breaky went down well x
