21/09/2024: L’ambiance et la décoration sont sympathiques. Nous avons pris des pâtes qui étaient bonnes. En revanche le service peu professionnel, ce n’est pas le moment opportun pour dire qu’un champagne, ou un autre est je cite : « de la pisse », sachant que nous travaillons dans ces maisons. Certes cela peut être de l’humour, mais on peu rire de tout mais pas avec n’importe qui.

14/09/2024: Victime de son succès ? Malgré la réservation 2 jours à l'avance, et confirmée le matin même, avec une arrivée exactement à l'heure prévue, pas de table réservée comme prévu et demandé. Ambiance très bruyante, service assez "rude", limite à l'arrache. Heureusement, les plats sont toujours goûteux, et n'ont pas changé. Mais ça ne suffit pas. A trop vouloir en prendre, on perd l'essentiel. Cette baisse de qualité perçue est décevante. Dommage...

01/12/2025: Warm welcome. Clean hotel, decent and plentiful breakfast. Room that does the job for a short stay

05/07/2024: Had a really great lunch with excellent lake views. Service and food were really good and the hosts were excellent. Would recommend as a great place to chill out.

09/05/2024: Turned up on the off chance of having a meal. Evidently they were booked up even though there was obvious spaces. They could not be bothered. Not even a suggestion to have a drink at the bar and we’ll get you something. Appalling attitude. Needless to say we and our family will not be going back.

06/07/2024: Absolutely amazing coffee, served by a lovely American lady on July 4th! We had been in France for a month and were at the end of our travels and tried this coffee house because of reviews. My eyes nearly popped when I tasted the cappuccino, it was that good.I've rarely tasted the like apart from some exclusive beans I was gifted by my daughter a little while ago. My wife also had the carrot cake despite almost always being disappointed by cake in cafes ( she is an optimist! ) was delighted with her choice here. If you’re ever in Chalons, just go here.
