07/06/2026: We just left this restaurant...great menu, excellent presentation, and very good ingredients. The staff were very friendly and equally kind.
01/06/2026: I unfortunately share many of the negative reviews regarding the quality of service. We had booked for five for Mother's Day and we were all surprised and disappointed by the way we were treated by Anne Marie, the restaurant owner. There were numerous inappropriate remarks about us smoking on the terrace, which is, in fact, a designated smoking area with ashtrays available. "Oh, it stinks," "Go smoke somewhere else, get out!", "The whole restaurant smells of smoke," "My waiter's eyes are watering" (seriously, that last one's a good one) are just a few examples of the comments we received. Meanwhile, people were smoking at practically every table and even at the restaurant entrance where there's an ashtray, but apparently, no one seemed to mind. I can certainly understand that cigarette smoke can be bothersome, and I respect those who are bothered by it, but in that case, why not just make the terrace non-smoking? Simple and effective. And despite all that, I'm ready to get up and go smoke somewhere else if asked politely, but there's a right way and a wrong way to present things, and good manners are clearly lacking in the restaurant owner. I see that this echoes other reviews, and I'm sorry the owner hasn't reflected on her actions. It's a real shame because the other employees are fantastic, the food is top-notch, and the setting is magnificent. The problem is that I'm also paying for service that isn't up to par, resulting in a Mother's Day meal that was ultimately ruined. Madam owner, don't waste your time replying to this comment; we've already discussed this, and I think we've said everything we need to say... And then I see your reply to my comment... What bad faith! It's astounding. You dare to comment on my behavior, when I was trying to remain calm and preferred not to respond for everyone's sake. That's my biggest regret, ultimately. I should have gotten up and left much earlier. You didn't deserve for us to spend another penny at your establishment. Remember, it's your customers who keep you in business, so show them a little respect. Goodbye
